natural vanilla flavor
I've been using this product for awhile, trusting the Doctor's Best brand and veggie cap, but found out meanwhile that the natural vanilla flavor on the label most likely means an MSG source. Natural vanilla flavor is not the same as vanilla. Why would you need it in a capsule anyhow?

Finally! A product that IS what it says it IS; no stearates or other junk to worry and clog the system of nutraceutical & supplement users; most of whom are necessarily using a regimen of interrelated products depending on their bodilyinteractions to work best. If anyone is using a dozen or so individual tabs or caps daily or in one dose period once or twice daily, they are consuming a considerable amt. of stearate and other junk. It seems irresponsible of mfrs to continue to formulate capsules and tabs with these items when this product proves that it is quite appropriate to provide a cap or tab without those belly & blood cloggers. How much stearate is usable by the bodydaily? why don't product mfrs consider this when forcing us to pay for that unwanted, unusable junk? Hurrah for Doctor's Best in their offering NAC without any stearates, and other junk! I'm sold on this for good. Hope Swanson is listening!

Best value, no stearates
It has a slightly higher per-pill cost compared to the Swanson NAC. But, this also has the selenium and molybdenum. And, perhaps more importantly, no stearates. The Swanson brand has magnesium stearate. Stearates, such as magnesium stearate, are lubricants which help the machinery make capsules. But, they are not good for you and so some vendors are trying to remove stearates. Some of Drs Best still have stearates, unfortunately. But this one doesn't. Swanson does have a good price on the product. It is only slightly more expensive than the Swanson, and Drs Best I think are high quality.
