Dolce and Gabbana The One Men Eau De Toilette Spray for Men, 1.6 Ounce

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I thought the scent was a little pungent, but the second time I wore it , it grew on me. The tobacco and cedar wood base is a nice touch. The grapefruit and basil top notes brought a bit of acidity to the scent. The Hugo Boss The Scent was my favorite, but this one is gaining traction. I never really noticed its refreshing, unique scent while wearing it, but just taking the time to carefully allow the olfactory nerves to absorb the scent for this review, allowed me to gain a new appreciation for Dolce&Gabbanna The One for Men. It's definitely needs to be on your list of cologne.

While it was long lasting, I didn't love the scent - it had this wood like smell mixed with an air of clean/fresh. It smelled okay but honestly it is one among many and I would probably select another one before this one.

The scent lasted the whole day and had a distinct male kind of fragrance to it. i would highly recommend this perfume to my colleagues, friends and family members. Comes highly recommended for folks looking for a strong masculine perfume that lasts the entire day.

My wife didn't care for it on me. I'm sure that there are many men out there who would wear this but it just isn't for me.

I had a slight breakout after using this too, almost like razor burn. Had a pretty intense, spicy smell too it. I would rate this as just okay. It is actually a lighter scent. It lasts all day and is not overwhelming. I get a lot of compliments when I wear this scent also! I picked up a bottle for my brother for Christmas. I will continue to use Dolce & Gabbana The One for Men.

Wearing it to work and church and a few special occasions made feel better about I smelled. I am not a huge cologne person but wearing a few drops of this amazing fragrance was good. I still have some left because I did not want to finish it all. Looking great and smelling great will help anyone to feel great.

The scent could been a little stronger for my liking, but still pleasant. I prefer to not have to reapply during the day and this one just didn't last all day.

I almost felt like one of those guys that when they walk by you can still smell them after their gone. If you like strong scents then by all means get this, I just thought it was too overpowering for me.

After applying it initially it didn't stand out to me in the same way that other, bolder scents might; but the longer I wore it the more I grew to appreciate the rich subtlety of all the different notes in this fragrance. In the same way that the D&G Light Blue could be said to be a "summer fragrance", this could easily be an autumn or winter fragrance, given its warm, spicy notes, all of which make an appearance without being overpowering. Unlike some cheap fragrances that all smell the same and can be cloying, this one left me intrigued and wanting to smell more; there is something different about this one, and it's a good something.

That one is the Dolce & Gabbana The One for Men. The other two didn't smell bad, but didn't really please my senses. I used each on different occasions with lots of people and waited to see if there were any comments or compliments made. I didn't receive much or nothing at all, but once I asked it was mixed reviews, but nothing great. My least favorite was the Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Pour Homme. The reason for this is because it had an odor of suds or like older women's perfume, which reminds me of pine cones, but not as bad which I do not like.

I also liked that it didn't overwhelm me and had no feminine scent to it. Finding a scent that we all can agree on isn't always easy. This one fit the bill!

My wife said it smelled very crisp and fresh, and as long as my wife likes it, that's all that matters. I like the packaging of the fragrance as well and this would make an excellent gift for someone.

While it is not my Scent Style, I know many a man , whom would wear it. with notes like these Top notes: Grapefruit, coriander, basil Heart notes: Cardamom and ginger Base notes: Tobacco, ambergris and cedarwood Any Man would smell good

That said, of the 3 fragrances I was able to sample, this was going to be ranked #3. That doesn't mean anything is wrong with it; it just was my "least favorite," which actually is pretty unfair to say because I did enjoy it.
