The mystery meat was all fat and gristle The breading was a soggy mess, that even the tablespoon of fatty gravy could not save Set your money on fire instead of buying this food not fit for sick animals

Dolly must not have tried this before they started selling it in store. The Mashed Potatoes, & Green beans with bacon are okay, but the meat is tough. You'll need a knife, or you'll have to chew the meat into bites. I have eaten two of these from different stores and batches, both were the same.

The flavor is good but it is violently and disrespectfully hard to microwave steak and it's not her fault The Lord himself couldn't do it correctly She tried and I love her for it but the breading on the steak is soggy the potatoes were definitely powder The green beans after trying to get the steak hot made them kind of shriveled this was not her best I'm finished it it didn't taste bad but definitely not shrimp and grits The shrimp and grits got my whole soul on fire

This is what I think prison food probably looks and tastes like lol. I shouldn’t be surprised, I wouldn’t expect much from a frozen meal anyway. Not edible, went to the trash.

Had high expectations since Dolly put her name on it. Absolutely awful, not fit for human consumption. Steak belongs in the sole of a shoe. Green beans were chewy, like bubble gum. Potatoes all watery and barely any there. Dolly, you are ruining your reputation with this inedible garbage!!! We have never in our lives tried to get a refund on food from a store, but this time we will try. Worst meal in our lives.

I just bought this one day ago and ate it for lunch and it was awful. The steak was so rubbery and hard to take apart. Not much gravy on there as well could be better.

If there's one thing I know, it's that Dolly Parton doesn't need any frozen meals for extra money? I'm so disappointed that she started doing this. She has a good reputation and everyone seems to like her including myself. However, maybe it's my fault that for some reason when it comes to food and a southern girl, I thought she would have much higher standards before she put her name on something. This entire meal was bad. The country fried steak was tough with bits of cartilage throughout, the potatoes were instant! I actually think she should be a little embarrassed putting her name on instant potatoes being a southern girl, and the bacon in the green beans was raw, chewy, and gross. First and last time buying this.

I tried this last night, baking it in my toaster oven, and it was truly awful. One of the worst frozen meals I've ever had. The meat, the potatoes, the green beans, all had an odd twang to them. Others have said "at least the green beans were good" but that was not my experience. The meat was gross, honestly. Tough as an old boot, and pretty large pieces of hard...gristle? At least I hope it was gristle. The breading was soggy and just absorbs the gravy and the potatoes were dry and odd. The whole thing was a huge disappointment and I ended up throwing it away and eating cereal for dinner. I love me some Dolly Parton but honey, you do NOT want your name on this! It's truly gross.

I'll start positive the grits (shrimp & grits) were delicious & would suggest Dolly making an entree of just the cheesy grits! But this Country Fried Steak was the very worst frozen dinner I ever had, complete garbage couldn't even salvage the green beans they smelled awful & what creamy potatoes???...I also didn't see any homemade gravy. The meat was a disgusting mess I wouldn't even consider eating it...entire thing was immediately trashed! I did but the shrimp & grits 3 times for the grits it was very tasty. I doubt I will try any of the other entree, but again she should do a side dish of the grits.
