Desperate for the Divine taste of 'LA or Low Country warm style' shrimp & grits--THESE DID IT FOR ME! Flavorfull, gently creamy grits, enough shrimp to make me happy & a good touch of ol' Creole zippy spice, I am so glad to find these! The frozen easy-to-fix servings I can have ready in 6 microwaved minutes. Nothing near me comes even close to Dolly's offering. I'm buying plenty more to have on hand. LOVE IT!!! Perfect breakfast ~

Tastes fantastic, not at all like a typical frozen meal. Good balance of flavors, texture. I’m not a fan of grits, or other mushy textures, but I thought I’d experiment because the description sounded good. Glad I did because this was yummy! Not terribly high in calories but surprisingly filling. I will buy this again!

This is the best frozen shrimp and grits meal that I have eaten. I adjusted my cooking times so I do not overcook the shrimp. The grits are the perfect texture as long as you stir all of the ingredients together before eating.

I loved the chicken & dumplings so much that I wanted to try another variety. I was excited to see shrimp & grits. Heated it up as soon as I got home and was eating a scrumptious meal less than 10 minutes later. My only regret is not buying 2. Normally this would be plenty for me but I haven’t eaten all day until now. Edit: another reviewer said the shrimp are smaller than in the picture, but shrimp always shrink down when you cook them. They are the same size as the picture before you microwave them. Dolly wouldn’t lie to us like that.

First time having grits. Got one of each of the 4 Dolly meals to try because Target had them on special. This meal was a little spicy for my taste. I love the grits. I love tomatoes, but these had sauce or something on them which I didn't care for I would have rather have them plain. The shrimp were good. if you like something spicy you'll like this.

Ok so I do not like frozen meals and think most are bad, over processed, low in flavor, and not filling. This feels very much the opposite! My biggest drawback is due to the microwave situation the shrimp comes across over cooked but I mean…. The grits are prettt good, the sauce is great, the portion and ratios are great…. I never thought I would have a fav frozen meal but it happened to me!!! And I love making my own shrimp and grits too so it’s not like I don’t know what the real stuff tastes like. Really worth the money especially when on sale!

The worst thing about this dish is it taste like "More"! This is better than some restaurant versions. However, I would like to see the sodium level cut. 1000mg is a bit much for the size of the serving. Otherwise, a fantastic meal, especially for frozen.

This is very good; a lot better than I expected for 270 calories. I question if they are that low in calories though. I don’t count calories like that so not an issue for me. It’s a good size portion. The shrimps are tiny but enough that there’s one in every bite. The shrimps aren’t rubbery and the grits are good consistency as well. Overall good quality/texture/flavor and at a decent price. Will definitely get it again.
Tasty convenience for lunch or dinner.

I really enjoyed this frozen entree. Yes, the shrimp were a little small, but for the price and convenience I wasn't really expecting anything different. The flavor overall was great. It was nice finding something traditionally southern and little different than you would normally find on the west coast.

Product def does not look like the box, but I was happily surprised that it was really good! It’s got a little kick of spiciness that follows the cheesey grits. I am def going to recommend and purchase again.

Today I tried Dolly Shrimp & Grits with Cheese frozen dinner. It was delicious! I really enjoyed it alot and am so happy that I tried it! I am looking forward to trying the other dinners also! This is southern cooking for sure, thank you Dolly!
