This product is a disgrace to Birria and should’ve never considered to be sold as such. It has a bland beef filling almost like refried beans texture and there’s no cheese. Also super oily and doesn’t cook evenly. I wish I read reviews before I bought, I’ve been catfished by the packaging!!

Ethoxyquin is an antioxidant used primarily in animal feed to prevent rancidity and is NOT approved for human consumption unless it is used as a “preservative for spices”- and still controversial due to its health concerns including toxicity and mutagenicity! Wow!! I’m kind of in shock. Also they glutened me terribly (celiac here).

Nothing birria about these. I would agree the filling has a texture of what I would imagine dog food to have. Barely any meat and lack of flavor :((( I wanted to love these! The shell also got hard before the filling was hot when I cooked them in the airfryer
