Subtle fragrance

I thought for sure I’d smell like a jolly rancher but the fragrance is very subtle and the lather extraordinarily creamy. It really moisturizes my skin. I loved it!!

Strong scent but very hydrating and effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was very surprised with this product in multiple ways. It has a VERY strong apple scent first of all. If you like apple, it’s not a bad thing though, and it doesn’t leave a scent on your skin at least. It’s got a great texture and feel to the soap when using it. I use the regular Dove hydrating soap bar, and I actually found this to be more hydrating than that and no weird feel or residue left on the skin. I may look for a different scent going forward, but I’m definitely going to repurchase.

Great soap and formula
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely loved this soap! It foams up really well. Gets you really clean without stripping your skin. There’s no plastic in the packaging which is amazing! No sulfate cleansers and no parabens. It also doesn’t leave a ton of soap scum on my bath tub which I’ve had happen with other soaps.

But, I am a little disappointed that the scent doesn't stay on my skin, and a lot disappointed that it doesn't leave my skin near as moisturized as I thought it would. Dove claims "all day soft skin", but I beg to differ.

The soap itself is fine, smells good, but I am not a fan of the artificial colors. I do t find it drying, but I do moisturize.

Nice scent
The Dove Almond Milk & Green Apple Cleansing Bar is a great addition to Dove’s lineup, with its signature packaging that stays true to the scent’s theme—green accents to match the crisp green apple fragrance. One thing I love about Dove’s packaging is that you can actually smell the product before buying, which helps in deciding if it’s a scent you enjoy. I also appreciate that Dove clearly labels their bars as free from parabens and sulfates, making it easy to know what you’re putting on your skin. The bar itself is stamped with the Dove symbol, a small but nice touch that makes it feel a bit more premium. There’s plenty of product in each bar to last for weeks, and while the scent is noticeable when lathering, it fades after a bit—which I personally prefer since I like to layer other scented products. My only gripe is that it can be a bit drying, so following up with a good moisturizer is a must. Other than that, this is definitely a product I’d purchase.

The smell reminds me of an apple orchard. The almond milk compound in this makes my skin feel soft after showering. I really enjoyed this plant based cleansing bar, it leaves me soft with a fun and vibrant scent.
