When we use recycled plastic, it tends to look more cloudy and less transparent; hence, you will see the difference in bottle color. The product itself is still clear.

I’ve always been the biggest fan of putting my hair in braids, however I never really get the opportunity to do it often because I have particularly thick and coarse hair, so pieces of my hair tend to eventually pop out of the braids whenever the wind hits it and causes wispys to stick out everywhere. This hairspray completely changed that struggle of mine though. I added one layer of this spray to my hair, put it in a braid, and added a second coating on top of the finished hairstyle and it completely stayed together for the entire day! Even after the brisk, wintery air hit it! I was thrilled! The aroma of this product is subtle, floral, with slightly sweet yet fruity notes, but strong enough for the scent to stick around and last for hours. The only complaint I have is that it made my hair slightly brittle on the edges of my hair, and by the roots. Nothing too serious that made me hate this product though. I have dead ends in my hair so I can’t hold it against it. Definitely recommend this to anyone who styles their hair often! You won’t be disappointed!

I have a very thin straight hair and I always struggle with keeping my hair style or curls after I use the curling iron all day. I sprayed it on my hair and some curls lasted because there was plenty of products. The other parts of my hair didn’t last because there wasn’t the same amount of hairspray. After spraying it’s going to be sticky at first and after it drys down it leave the hair clumped together. I wasn’t bothered by that but this means that I have to use more product on my hair to make the style last.

I have also noticed that it doesn’t make my hair frizzy after using it for hours . It doesn’t build up in hair either compared to other products . I love the scent, it’s a very light floral scent which leaves my smelling great. think it’s a very good hairspray and it’s very affordable. I highly recommend it

The scent is light with fruity notes which I love! The hold is amazing! It lasted all day, holds but not sticky or heavy at all. Unlike others I have tried, this hairspray leaves my hair feeling soft and not stiff! I will continue to use this product!

The scent is very clean, not alcohol smelling at all. The formula also leaves my hair still soft and shiny, whereas other hairsprays can leave your hair sticky from the hairspray or hard/textured. Also works great for little flyaways and held my curls very well!

I've used Dove extra hold for years. It was amazing. Like others have said, the new formula, with gloss, won't wash out and is destroying my hair. Please bring back the original. I'm having to change brands because my hair is breaking off with the gloss that won't come out, even after washing twice.

I have used the old Dove non-aerosol Extra-Hold for years without any issues. I liked it because it washed completely clean and didn't leave any white, sticky residue. This new formula is horrible and will won't buy it again. Bring back the old formula! It actually worked without damaging my hair! I just spent 10 minutes combing and recombing to get the chunks of white residue out of my hair. When it dries, it look nasty.

This formula is NOT for fine hair. Or for touch-ups. It goes on heavy & heavy looking. It is difficult to brush through or wash out. If reapplied it turns into a horrible look & even harder to remove :( I would only use this for up-do's & wash immediately after.
