[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shampoo lathers really well and leaves my scalp feeling clean without that stripped, tight feeling. I’ve noticed less flaking after just a few washes, and the salicylic acid seems to actually help without irritating my scalp. The conditioner is lightweight but still makes my hair feel soft and smooth — it doesn’t weigh my hair down at all.

I swear by this shampoo!
I have awful dandruff and terrible dryness around my ears/eyebrows. I have tried so many shampoos with no luck. I bought this a while ago to try and it is the ONLY shampoo that has cleared up my flakes 100% and gotten rid of the itch 100%, and the smell is not overpowering like most. I will use only this shampoo!!!

My daughter and love this for our itchy scalp. We are having a really hard time finding it currently. It's marked as out of stock in our area. I'm praying it has not been discontinued as I haven't found anything else that helps as much as this.

I had been having some kind of allergic reaction causing a super dry/red scalp. I’ve used this as my first wash and then followed with Redken All Soft twice now and I do think this helps! I also have super sensitive skin + eczema and it hasn’t caused any issues!

I've been using this shampoo for a few years now after being recommended it. Nothing had worked for me before until I tried this and am bummed because I can't seem to find it anymore. I hope it's not discontinued because I would hate to have to find a new go-to that's just as cost effective as this one.

New Formula Sucks.
I adore Dove, and trust me this product used to be great! That is until recently when they changed the formula and packaging. I gave it a 2 star because it doesn't get rid of my dandruff at all, but it also doesn't ruin my hair. It's just the same as it was 2 months ago, it did literally nothing. Which I guess is better than ruining my hair, but still majorly disappointed.

Something has changed in the formula, too, not just the bottle. This was the ONLY thing that worked for me for both dandruff and frizzy free hair. It no longer works like it used to. Seriously disappointed. Please change it back!

Best anti-dandruff shampoo ever! Hear me out! I had the worst dandruff. I had really bad flaky dandruff to the point where I told the doctor I needed a medicated shampoo, the shampoo the doctor prescribed didn’t help at all, it made my dandruff worst actually. I use to head and shoulders as well, that didn’t help. So I wanted to give Dove a try. I’m so happy I did because my dandruff has gotten better! No more embarrassing flaky dandruff! Give this shampoo a try! It’s worth it!

Changed formula, no longer good

The old Derma Scalp shampoo they got rid of earlier in the year and rebranded into this was the best, had been using in for at least 5 closer to 10 years and never had any flakes and my scalp/hair felt great. This new dryness relief line completely dries out my scalp and hair. It's just awful and if they tell you it's the same they are lying. Have tried another 3 alternatives will no luck so far. Please bring back Derma Scalp!!!!

Changed formula - doesn’t work anymore
I used to be able to rely on dove anti-dandruff shampoo and conditioners. They worked so well and were the only products I could buy that really helped with my dandruff, smelled good, and kept my hair healthy. Since the bottles and formula changed, that is no longer the case. I get dandruff using this line now. I’m so sad and disappointed.
