Dove when will you bring back the old formula. I look every time I go to the store to purchase something.. It has been difficult to find a replacement. I have wasted so much money on trying other products just to find one that I can tolerate.

We transitioned the pack of this product to 100% recycled PET to respect our planet and sustainability commitments. When we use recycled plastic it does tend to look more cloudy and less transparent, hence you will see the difference in bottle color. Grayish color and horrible smell. I have used this product faithfully for over 15 years and I can’t handle the smell. Why did you change this ? I wasted a lot of money on 4 bottles as I always have many on hand and just opened the new formula and it is awful. I guess I need to find a new brand.

I have used dove hairspray for close to 10 years. My husband loved the scent. Now it is awful. I used to get compliments on my “ perfume” It was my hairspray. Now, I can’t wait for this can to be gone. I will be searching for a new spray that smells better! It literally almost makes me gag when spraying it. I would have bought a case of the old stuff if I knew they were changing the formula!

I should have read reviews but I’ve been purchasing this hair spray for years! Apparently they have changed formula and smell and it’s awful! The smell is so strong and smells cheap. Made my hair sticky too. So sad because the original was a hidden gem of hairsprays!

I'm very sensitive to smells. I have used this product for years. It was the only one that didn't smell, held my hair in place, and my wasn't left hard and sticky. The new formula totally sucks. Why mess with a good thing? Bring back the original formula in the old bottle and dump the formula. Other wise bring out new hair products that are fragrance free and for sensitive scalps. I wish I had the option to leave negative stars but can't. I DON'T EVEN GIVE THIS PRODUCT 1 STAR BUT IT MADE ME GIVE AN OVERALL RATING. So I'll rate the new formula in words " I give this negative 5 stars". THE OLD PRODUCT WOULD HAVE GOTTEN 5 STARS

I bought this new bottle because I was almost out. Just like normal. The color looked weird, but I didn't think anything of it, I sprayed some in my hair and had to IMMEDIATELY WASH my hair again because the smell was so atrocious. Please bring back the old formula and smell immediately!!!!!! This new fragrance and formula does not work and sucks!!!

It stinks all day long and if I don’t wash my hair before bedtime it bothers me all night. Awful change to a perfectly good product. The only positive I can add is that it holds better than previously, but that just doesn’t make up for the awful smell.

I’ve used the old formula for years and years. It’s my absolute favorite. I used the new formula today, not realizing it had changed and it’s absolutely awful. The smell is disgusting. It made me nauseous all day. I couldn’t wait to get home to wash it out of my hair. If I could give the new formula zero stars I would. Please bring the old formula back, exactly the way it used to be :(

The new formula is awful - the smell and the color. I thought it looked odd when I bought a new bottle, because the color was no longer clear. I chalked it up to maybe the label changed and made it look weird. I used it once and I couldn't even get through the day with the smell. I had to wash my hair again because it was so awful, then I returned the bottle to the store for a refund. I can't think of a reason why you felt anything needed to change about it. It was perfect the way it was. Hair spray doesn't need a fragrance! Now I've had to find a new hair spray. Please, please change it back.
