A: Hmm..the label shows both bi and trimethicones--the cones are related to silicone and are typically synthetic shine enhancers.

A: Our Flexible Hold Hair spray does offer a level 3 hold which does provide a stronger hold than typical hair spray. If you are looking for a stronger hold that promises to last all day, we recommend trying our Pantene Strong Hold Hair Spray that offers a level 4 hold, or you can even go for our Extra Strong Hold Hair Spray which has a hold level of 5, our maximum level.

A: We would not recommend using a straightener after applying our Pantene Pro-V Flexible Hold Hair Spray due to it being a finishing product. Q: How can you call it alchol free when it has benzyl alcohol?

A: Some ingredients used in Beauty Care products, or even products classed as 'alcohol-free' products are listed as alcohols. These ingredients are completely different to the alcohols found in alcoholic drinks; they are not specified as alcohols and in fact they are usually solids i.e. fatty alcohols. They are derived from renewable plant sources and the term 'alcohol' simply means they contain a common combination of Oxygen and Hydrogen. I really like how this hairspray works. It is hard to find an alcohol free hairspray that works. However, the overly sweet vanilla scent is icky. This would be the perfect hairspray if it were unscented, or even just a lighter citrusy scent.

Having used Pantene hairspray for decades I am so disappointed with the last bottle used. Brushing through hair it catches near the ends and feels dry crispy. Airspray Hairspray 3. I called in and asked if the formula changed. Told no. Now looking for another spray for hold and brush through. My hair stylist said it has built-up on my hair. Something has changed with it.
The only alcohol free hair spray that I have found!

Pantene "alcohol free" flexible hold, hair- spray is a very light hair- spray that has never left my hair crunchy. I don't think the smell is bad and I have told others about this hair-spray that now use it too. It used to be $4.99 but has since went up to $5.99 in price.

This is the best hairspray I’ve ever used, and I’ve tried many at all price points! I live in humid Florida and I have fine, frizz-prone wavy/curly hair that I heat style into loose beach waves. Stepping out on a very humid day usually reveals cowlicks at my hair line and makes the rest of my hair resemble cotton candy. This hair spray is the ONLY hair spray I’ve ever used that keeps my hairline cowlicks tame and my texture presentable despite spending whole days in Florida humidity. I’m so glad I found this hairspray! It suits my needs perfectly.

Seems to work great, regarding all the bad reviews, it doesn’t make your hair look crunchy or hard and it does make the hair slightly hard as expected with hardening hairspray, if your hair is too crunchy it’s because your using too much product. It actually says on the bottle that you may have to use less than your normal hairspray.

This spray is the worst. This makes my hair feel so dry and tangled, even after it’s washed out. The only plus is that it smells really nice, but I’m going to be returning this stuff.

I wanted something with hold but not feel like hairspray of the 60's. THIS IS NOT LIGHT WEIGHT! It makes my hair crunchy and so very hard to comb out the next day. Something also wrong with the sprayer...not the usual mist you get from a can. More like tiny blobs as if the spray is clogged up (brand new can)
