The hold is light but I have fine hair so unfortunately isn’t too effective for me for long but I imagine if you have thicker hair it would work well. The price is great though as I looked it up to see what other products this brand had available.

Doesn’t make your hair crunchy

It holds my style in place and keeps frizz down when its blown out and doesn’t weigh my curls down when they’re natural.. The packaging is also so cute. The pink minimalist bottle makes me happy every time I see it.

Very light hold and pleasant smell

I had hoped this spray would provide light hold and frizz control, but it did neither. I bought two, returned the second one since it wasn't opened or used.

I was eager to try this because it had good reviews, but this does not hold for anything. Barely even holds down flyaways for a slicked back look. It smells great, so I've been using it as more of a finishing spray once I set my style with a better product. Basically an affordable hair perfume, but zero hold and product builds up quickly.

First of all, the scent of this hairspray is AMAZING!! It’s a very flexible hold, which I like, but I wish it held just a touch more!! It’s not a dealbreaker though. Good scent & good price—I’m in!🥳

For context, I have Asian hair, which tends to be straighter and finer. My hair is somewhat damaged from frequent use of heat-styling tools, which has led to long-term dryness and frizz. Now, about the product: the packaging is square and stays true to the brand’s aesthetic. I also love that the cap is attached to the container—super convenient when your hands are slippery! That alone earned it an extra star in terms of usability. The instructions say to leave the mask on damp hair for 10 minutes, which I did. I also tried my usual method—shampoo and conditioner first, then applying the mask to fully wet hair and leaving it on for 10 minutes. That method works great with other masks like Fino and Tsubaki, but not with this one. Instead, I applied the mask to hair that was about 10% damp and left it on for 10–20 minutes. After that, I rinsed it out and followed up with just shampoo and conditioner—no extra treatments—so I could really see how the Monday Hair Mask performed on its own. The result? My hair felt light, not weighed down at all! It was straight but with volume—not pin-straight—and noticeably smoother and softer. I have medium-length, layered hair, and it was so easy to style. My layers were bouncy and smooth. For a drugstore product, this one really holds its own. Accessibility is a big plus too—you can find it at your local Shoppers or drugstore. And the smell? To die for. My hair smelled amazing afterward. The only con (though it’s debatable) is that it’s a bit inconvenient to use in the shower. Since it needs to be applied to damp—not soaking wet—hair and left on for at least 10 minutes, I’d recommend using a hair cap if you want to multitask. For me, it’s easy to forget to use it mid-shower because it requires prep. With other masks, I could just apply them while in the shower and continue my routine—washing, scrubbing, etc.—while I waited. Final verdict: 4 stars overall! Watch out for the Monday Hair Mask—it’s definitely a contender in the hair care game!

I personally did not like the scent but this is of course subject to each individual. My largest complaint is this product resulted in significant product build-up in my hair (requiring a clarifying shampoo to remove). This was a very medium/light hold hairspray and the cons (mainly residue build-up) was too extensive for me (especially in comparison to other hairspray products I have used).

It's also free from parabens and sulfates that can weigh down your hair. I love that you can apply it to dry or damp hair. I typically would use it once a week on my whole head after shampooing (skipping regular conditioner works best for me) any additional uses I would focus only on the ends of my hair.
