Impressed by the Hold, Disappointed by the Fragrance.

While it does have a hint of vanilla, the fragrance comes across a bit distorted and leans more chemical than I expected. I really wanted to love the scent, but it just wasn't my favorite. On the bright side, the formula does deliver a nice flexible hold and a touch of shine. Overall, the performance is solid, but the scent personally didn't work for me.

I love this hairspray
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This might be the perfect hairspray. It has just the right amount of hold, but never makes my hair feel stiff or sticky. I use the Blake Brown mousse first, and gently scrunch my hair and then use this spray and between the two products, I have perfectly cute, soft, gentle curls that last all day.

Doesnt hold 1A hair
I have 1A hair and the scent is wayyyy too overpowering. I think there may be too much vanilla?? I don’t know it smells like a very molassy kind of caramel and it overpowers my perfume and shampoo even. It doesn’t hold my curls at all but I do like the fact that it doesn’t make my hair feel crunchy. I suppose this is a lighter hold hairspray and I didn’t read too much into it. Oh well
