I have used this product for several years but my last can purchased within the last three months or so smells terrible! It smells fishy, rotten, and just off. I had some older travel bottles that I use for work business trips and those still smell fine. Just tried to use the full-size one again today and the odor was so bad that it made me come to Google and then to the website to see if anyone else had reported this issue. First time I have ever left a review for hairspray, but I felt like the makers of this product should know that the new formula is not good. You’ve lost a customer over this odor. And I have an almost full can that will go in the trash. Guess I will go back to Shaper…

This is such an amazing product for a soft and light hold. I love being able to still run my fingers through my hair and the hold is still there. Second day I can spray again and it is not too heavy. The scent is very mild.

Agree with what everyone is saying. I’ve used this product for years. It’s been my holy grail for quick volume for fine straight hair and it’s smelled fine. Recently it has this moldy scent. Thought it may have been a bad batch, but everyone is saying the same. So disappointed! I want to switch brands now.
