Can doesn't spray
I have used the entire line, shampoo, conditioner and hair spray for some time now. It's a good product. The hIr spray is pricey, but it holds my style well without being stiff. Problem now is after a few days, it won't come out of the can! It just stops spraying. This is not an isolated problem. I tried 4 cans from 3 different stores. They all had the same problem and I took them all back. This is a new problem that Nexxus really needs to fix. I like the hair spray. Hate the sprayer

No residue
The nexxus maxximum firm hold hairspray is a major part of my daily routine. Most products tend to leave a residue after you brush out your hair which makes you need to wash it more often. This hairspray is the opposite, it’s keeps frizz maintained and hold curls perfectly all day and then you can just brush it away and not be left with a bad residue.

Smells Horrible Now
I used this hairspray for over 10 years and it was my holy grail. Over half a year ago I got a can that smelt AWFUL. I thought it was a one-off but no. Ever since, every few weeks when I'm in different drug stores I spray a tiny bit on my hand (I know you aren't supposed to) to smell it and it still smells overwhelmingly like a mix of rotten eggs and veggies. It's so sad cause I'm on the hunt for a new hairpray and can't find one I like as much, but I just can't spray rotten egg smell near my face and in my hair.

Smells Like Fish - No Hold
Smells like fish and does not hold. This has been my favorite hairspray for my entire adult life. It’s always had great hold even in the heat and humidity of Texas. It stinks so bad my coworkers could smell it and it has no holding power. Please change it back.

Nozzle Stops Spraying
The spray nozzle stops working after just a few uses despite cleaning the nozzle. No hairspray comes out at all. This has happened on the last 3 cans I have purchased. I have used this product for several years and spoke highly about it to friends, but I will no longer buy this product hoping the spray will work - unless Nexxus stands by its products and replaces or provides a refund for a malfunctioning product. I see there are several other complaints about this same issue so my experience is not unusual.

Recent canisters clog
I have used this hairspray for years but in the last few months every can I purchase has been clogging. I try all the tricks to unclog the nozzle and nothing works. I believe the new cans are faulty as I’ve never had this problem before.

Smell seems better
This has been my go to hairspray for several years so I was totally bummed when they changed the formula and the smell was horrible. I figured if I just waited it out, they’d change the scent and it’d be back to normal. It happened! Bought a can last week and it smells great, primarily no noticeable smell. This product smells horrible! Like rotting fish! I have been a loyal customer for years and have loved it until now. I’m not sure what has changed that makes it smell that bad but I will not be buying it again. I’m so disappointed in this company and product.
