A: No, unfortunately it is NOT the same formulation and it is highly inferior. I don't know why Target stopped carrying the original Nexxus Mousse Plus Volumizing Foam Styler in the Gold Can. I haven't found a similar substitute try Biolage Volumizing Mousse. It's better than the Nexxus Pink can IMHO.

A: interesting you said that. i thought i ordered the gold can but received it in pink instead. i wasnt sure if it is the same formula and noticed a bit of a difference... i tried a different brand but found that even the pink can is it still better than other brand.  but you are right, the gold one is a lot better.

A: This is the new formula in the pink can. For my hair it works great but my hair is straight and thinning. The old formula was strong hold and heavier. I like the new one better.
