Good hold, shine, definition, and not too tacky on the hands. Could use a little more moisture. Best results used alone on clean hair with no other product . I don't even use leave in on my 3c/4a hair with this.

This is the best curl mousse I have ever used, and it’s perfect for my hair. Unfortunately there’s something in this that makes my scalp itch like crazy like an allergic reaction. Maybe it’s the fragrance :(

I wanted to love this so bad and the comments had me so hype. But this left my son’s 4a curls dry and frizzy. They did not look defined or shiny unfortunately. The only thing I do like about this is the flexible hold.

I doux stand by this mousse. This is one product I continue to use on every wash n go bc of how much definition, longevity and moisture this product gives me. I've used it many times for a one product wash n go when my hair was longer and it worked great. Gave me tons of volume, hold, and shine. These days I love pairing it with hair gel such as Innersene I create Hold or more recently, Uncle Funckys Daughter Curly Magic. I find it gets the best results with this product when I apply it on damp or dry hair. Dry hair being the best bc I tend to get more hold and definition. Type 4 and low porosity hair approved.

It’s one of the few wash and go styling options so I love it for its versatility. However, my hair feels super dry and crunchy AFTER drying. Maybe I’ll see if air drying or steam helps but no other Doux product does that. I hope they make a detangling styling gel with strong hold like Big Poppa someday!

The BEST styling product for wash and go’s! I use it on my hair as well as my sons. Just follow the directions and you won’t be disappointed! Wash, shampoo, the apply mousse! That’s it! Don’t add any other products to your hair BEFORE applying the mousse, it already has a built in leave in conditioner, if you like oils, add them AFTER your hair is 100% dry. Nothing but amazing results! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I heard great reviews about this product and decided to give it a try. I washed my hair as directed and applied no other product except for the mousse def. It was great as a detangler but once it dried, it felt very sticky and tacky. I also didn't like how my curls looked afterwards. This product is not the best for my hair, but could be helpful for styles you need in a pinch, but you will need to wash your hair the next day. Way too sticky!
