This product works GREAT for twist but it smells like fish no lie!!! I was wondering one day why my hair had a bad smell and it wasn’t till I was using this on my sisters hair that she was like this product smells like fish. Which is how my hair smelled days before. Good product, directions may need adjustment
Let me start off saying I do like this product. I think it works really well but I don't agree with the directions on how to use it though. The first time I used the product I used my normal LCO method for my washing day routine and it turned out really good. However, when I tried using the product the next time I washed my hair using it the way the instruction said by not adding any product first it tangled my hair up really bad I have 3B/ 3C hair and I really don't have that issue when washing my hair and putting leave-in conditioner in it because it gives it slip so I can detangle it with my fingers. Again I do like the product I do think it provides really good hold I just think that the directions don't work for everybody because some need more slip than others to detangle when styling.

Brought CrazySexyCurl yesterday as a let's see! When I used it this morning......WOW! Amazing, the foam was POWERFUL, AWESOME, OMG! My curls never looked so good. I was a little leery cause I am a die-hard fan of MOUSSE Def, it was my absolute 1st product I ever used with the DOUX! I then also paired BIG POPPA and POP LOCKS when I have been using for now since the NEW YEAR! When I say CSC by far, HANDS DOWN is a WINNER.....I will never trade it for another! SOLD! loyal fan, YYM

Disappointed
Unfortunately this one worked worse than Mousse Daf. It somehow had less hold and worse frizz control. I love the lightweight of these mousses, but I think I have to stick to Big Poppa which NEVER misses. I wanted to love the mousse bc they detangle as well, but it just doesn’t hold the way I want after a day.

I use this exclusively for my 4b twa! It makes my coils shine and defines them really well with or without finger twisting! The smell is subtle—because I can’t stand overpowering scents in products. I don’t have any flakes or buildup and I don’t need to add leave in—which is really what makes this one the holy grail of mousse for me! It holds my hair for a week if I sleep with a bonnet. If I don’t it lasts 4-5 days without me having to reapply. I don’t need to use a ton to get my thick hair done, although I do keep my hair fairly short (but not shaved). Best mousse I have used this far!

I put in my pickup order for this product. When I got home, I opened the bag and it did not have a top and looked like it was used. I don’t have time to go back to the store due to it being late and needed it. I will do another review when I try the product out.

Following Instructions is Key!
I tried this mousse once before and experienced flaking and super stiff hair. Fast forward to this past week and I could not stop touching and admiring my hair! <3 Following the instructions really made a difference for me. Not using any other products and just applying the mousse after rinsing our my conditioner, I was afraid at first but soooo happy with my results after! I'm so excited for me next wash day. For added moisture I may use some of the Ladies First conditioner as a leave in but my hair has been super defined and soft all week.

Works Well
My hair is very dry and needs a lot of moisture. This product give me the moisture, definition, and hold I need but it smells SO bad. My hair literally smells fishy. If it weren't for that I'd give it a 5/5. I use it on blow-dried hair.

Definition, Hold and Shine
I’m a product junkie and this quickly became one of my favorite products to use on my type 4 hair. This provides amazing definition, hold, and shine without drying out my hair. I’m a twist out girlie, so I can’t speak to how well it works for any other styles. But I love, highly recommend, and will continue to purchase it!
