Perfection! My hair LOVES this product, it soaks it up so well and keep my hair hydrated for days and that’s what I primarily care about!Doesn’t leave my hair sticky or gummy. For reference, I have type 4c low porosity hair with high density, thin fine strands. I’m not a big styler of my hair. It’s almost always in a high , mid or low bun style. For me it pairs well with crazy sexy curl. It helps lay down any flyaways. I didn’t experience any white dots like other reviewers . ..again, the hydration this gives my hair is like no other and I will keep purchasing for that reason only.

A very moisturizing leave-in hair product. I would say the hold is very light but my hair so soft with this product. Looking forward to trying more products from The Doux

Leaves everything sticky! If anything touches your hair that’s wet it leaves a horrible sticky residue. It rained and it made my neck sticky!!! Feels so gross. I did like the consistency but that’s it :( wanted to like it so bad. Did not like the way it made my 3c/3b hair look either.

Moisturizer, soft, defining curls, last me 4 days.

This gives good slip and shine when applying. My thought was to use it like 808 base gel which I use under Mouse Def, and use it under the Crazy Sexy Curl mouse. However, it created white balls when combined with Crazy Sexy Curl. I read another review that said it doesn't work with other Doux products. Since Honey Dip only works alone, I would only recomend it for type 2 or 3 curls. I really need more hold for my type 4 curls than this provides. I did notice that it does a decent job forming curls on the end of my hair shaft, but the hold is not good and the curls at the root aren't as defined as with higher hold products from The Doux. I can't speak for the length of hold as I've just done my hair with it for the first time tonight. Usually I try to get between 4-7 days from a wash-n-go, but I doubt this product will stand up to being slept on even 1 night, for my hair type.

very moisturizing and has great slip! but the definition does not last long at all. after a couple hours it looked like my hair had no product. also flakes with the other doux gels!

Unfortunately, this product did not work for me, and it caused me to have an allergic reaction, which has never happened to me before. I broke out in hives on my neck and ears. I'm very apprehensive about trying anything else from their new line of products.

I was really looking forward to trying The Doux hair products, but unfortunately, they did not work out for me. After using them for a short period of time, I experienced significant scalp irritation. My scalp became itchy and uncomfortable, which was quite disappointing. Due to this reaction, I had to return all of The Doux products that I purchased. It's a shame because I had high hopes for them, but they just weren't suitable for my scalp

I love the Honey Dip because it leaves a soft hold and shine, but my curls are still defined and it lasts me the whole week.
