My go to! its great for humidity. It holds my curls, define them like I want and they stay all day! I dont mind the hard curls because after awhile the hard kind of goes away. I've seen no flaking! I can finally wear my hair down and not be scared it will frizz through out the day!

Sticky and smells like honey
I always get compliments on how defined my hair is when I wear this brand. Especially this Bee. It literally smells like honey and is sticky. That is the only thing I don't like, it is sticky. But I can wear it for days. I just got to spritz in the morning with a water bottle and shake my head to form it again.

Strong hold but drying
I decided to try this product as I have been using the mousse in this same line for a while and wanted to see if both products paired well together. The curl custard has a strong hold but is very drying, I had to keep adding oil to try to get some moisture into my hair. I have seen comments that it has a lot of build up and creates flaking, but for me that was not the case. Happy that I tried the product, but is a no for me and will not be purchasing again.

I have low porosity menopausal hair and I wanted to add a gel to my wash and go bee girl crazy sexy curl mouuse, the results were amazing . I didn’t need a gel , however just wanted to try it , my curls were extremely defined and I loved the texture it was a light sleek gel which made my curls, very soft , only thing once again you have to sit under the dryer or diffuse , heat have to stay away from , but the moisture this custard provides and the built in heat protections with the Doux products help

I tried this gel twice first with the CrazySexyCurl mousse and once by itself both times the product flaked. I loved the results but I could see the flakes on my scrubs and it made me self conscious about my hair looking dirty. I did receive many compliments on my wash and go but ultimately couldn’t wash my hair soon enough. Please figure out what causes the product to flake.

Hi Big Moe, Thank you for the review. Did you use a leave in conditioner before, and did you allow the hair to fully dry before spray any oil/shine spray?

Tried this today with the same brand gel foam. My curls had a cast once diffused and once I shook it out from the root and “scrunched the crunch” it was soft and bouncy. Fragrance is strong, but I like it. Could be hard for some that don’t like fragrances. Will have to see how well it lasts in bonnet overnight. Also use the &Honey Melty shampoo and conditioner.

Not For Me
I wanted to like this SO BAD but it’s just not for me. And yes, I followed the directions, watched the videos, etc. First off, it took FOREVER to dry, second, once it was dry, my hair felt dry too. Way dry. Simultaneously, my usual corkscrew curls were limp like loose waves, seemingly weighed down. Not to mention, they were already flakey when I scrunched them out. Just… no. Love the smell though!

It’s good for one day hair. I have a TWA is looks good for one day but the next my hair was matted to my head and to awaken my curls with just water was a no go it flakes sooo bad and as a black girl washing my wash daily is not an opening.
