NOTE: I have only tried the beige version (the new one?). I have used this product for 8 months now. It is pricey, but worth every penny! This is one of the few styling gels that don't leave my hair dried out and crunchy while still holding the natural curl. My hair bounces afterwards and it adds amazing shine. This review is for the new formula. This stuff is horrible! It doesn't play well with other products and basically coagulated in my hair if there was ANYTHING else in it such as leave in conditioner. It left flakes all throughout my hair when it dried and gave me the worst looking curls ever.

I love a lot of Camille Rose products, but this is not one to love. I tried it one time and it created such nasty clumps and residue, I have to put my headband over the hair I had left out because it was so white and flaky.
