A: This honey works for all types of hair. But for the finner/thinner hair, you want to use a smaller amount as it's a heavy product with a thick consistency. My hair is super thick, so I use a bigger amount on my curly hair. But it locks in moisture which is great for your hair during the chilly winter months. This is a staple product that I use daily on my hair.

Thus was great until the formula change! This is the only thing in my life that is different so I know the hair breakage is from it. I skipped using it for one week and I had regular hair fall when detangling. I decided to return to it and pictured is how much came out. Ugh.

I only used this once, but instantly I could feel my curls getting defined while washing my hair with this product. Never has a shampoo had that type of effect on my type 4 hair (probably a mixture of 4a/b/c, but mainly 4c). I was pleasantly surprised, and impressed with how clean it got my hair for not having sulfates. It also made my hair fairly easy to detangle. Even when styling the hair, the normal tangles seemed to come out a lot easier. I wasn't too crazy about the smell, but overall loved the product. This definitely makes me want to try more products from this line to see the effect will have on my koils. I will recommend this to anyone that's natural and wants to use more natural ingredients.

I have been using this rinse for about 3 weeks. Not everyday but every 2 days. I rinse my hair with water in between. I love the way it makes my hair feel soft and clean. I have mature hair and graying hair. My hair texture has changed since, a bit more course and has given it a bit more body. This rinse is beautiful makes hair softer and more manageable. I'll probably give up on shampoo and conditioner. This is really all I need!

This product is effective for both me and my daughter. Both of us have curly hair that responds differently to different products. This is one of few products we can share. After using this my hair is bouncier and my curls are more defined without being weighed down. This helps clean my daughter’s scalp and roots well, especially after sports, without drying out her scalp or hair like many other products do. No need to sacrifice cleanliness for moisture or the other way around with this product.

Pleasantly surprised. I found one bottle on clearance so decided to give it a try. I have a lot of hair and it’s very coarse. It washed it quite well and left it nice and soft. It took about a palm full to wash my hair because of the thickness of my hair so wouldn’t use it for every wash but maybe once a week as a treat for my hair.

It's been over 7 years since I had a shampoo and conditioner that I was so confident in. This shampoo along with the conditioner left my hair moisturized and feeling soft. I have a lot of hair so this minimized my detangling time. I felt like it was getting the treatment that it has been needing for so long. I am very pleased and very excited that I have finally found a shampoo and conditioner for me and my hair. The deep conditioner and leave in conditioner are both really good too. I'm in hair heaven!!!

My water repelling low porosity nightmare hair LOVED this stuff. I wish it was even more clarifying but again, its not formulated for LP hair. My course rough hair is SO SOFT. The smell out of the bottle isnt desirable (and i even prefer essential oils over perfum) but it doesnt linger

This is a great CLARIFYING SHAMPOO. I would not recommend using it for a daily/weekly shampoo routine. You should be using a hydrating shampoo for that. Only use this when you feel that your hair needs to be deeply cleansed to remove product build-up WITHOUT stripping. This rinse delivers! I only use it once a month to reset my scalp and hair. As some others have recommended, I use this to cleanse my hair twice, followed by a hydrating shampoo once and finishing with a conditioner/deep conditioner treatment. Personally I like the scent and that it doesnt linger in your hair. Has great lather and detangling/slip properties also. 10/10 recommended if you have low porosity, dense hair.

first, let me say, I have fine/thin/wavy hair, one section of my hair is very curly, and the rest is textured/ wavy. I was hoping for this to work, I purchased the Ginger shampoo with the Moroccan Pear Conditioning Custard, the ingredients are curly girl-approved and sound very healthy, although the shampoo does have Clarifying Ingredients and castor oil which can cause build-up, The conditioner does have Glycerin (if that's something you're trying to avoid) but I still wanted to give it a try. The shampoo smell was a very faint ginger smell, which was great because I am very sensitive to scents, however, the feel of the shampoo in my hair did not feel good at all, it felt like a rich oil and waxy feeling, no matter how much I rinsed it felt like the waxy feel would not come out. It gave me immediate flash dry and I could not wait to use the conditioner to see if I can get moisture/slip. The conditioner, the smell is amazing, there is a fruity scent, not too strong, It did not have any slip, and did not feel very moisturizing at all. by the time I got out of my shower, my hair looked like wet straw, some strands were falling out, and it was a tangled mess. This might be good for someone that has very curly hair or oily hair, but for someone with fine/thin/ hair that tends to be on the drier side, this may not work for you. I will not purchase again, and Thank You Target for refunding me.

High to Medium porosity hair, 3c-4a curls, fine strand thickness, shoulder length hair. It was easy to apply to my scalp and hair lengths, which I really liked. It has a nice sweet gingery smell. I oiled my hair overnight before washing it and still found it slightly drying with my hair feeling stringy in some sections. But I was able to detangle very easily with my hair in sections using my hands. Overall decent experience.

I really like this product and have been using it for about a couple of months. I have low porosity 3c hair and I use it before shampooing but always follow up with a moisturizing shampoo right after. Never skip shampooing! Other than that it makes my scalp feel super clean. Highly recommend!!
