Perfect for my 4c hair. Cleanses with out stripping and smells nice. A little goes a very long way! 10/10 recommend.

first, let me say, I have fine/thin/wavy hair, one section of my hair is very curly, and the rest is textured/ wavy. I was hoping for this to work, I purchased the Ginger shampoo with the Moroccan Pear Conditioning Custard, the ingredients are curly girl-approved and sound very healthy, although the shampoo does have Clarifying Ingredients and castor oil which can cause build-up, The conditioner does have Glycerin (if that's something you're trying to avoid) but I still wanted to give it a try. The shampoo smell was a very faint ginger smell, which was great because I am very sensitive to scents, however, the feel of the shampoo in my hair did not feel good at all, it felt like a rich oil and waxy feeling, no matter how much I rinsed it felt like the waxy feel would not come out. It gave me immediate flash dry and I could not wait to use the conditioner to see if I can get moisture/slip. The conditioner, the smell is amazing, there is a fruity scent, not too strong, It did not have any slip, and did not feel very moisturizing at all. by the time I got out of my shower, my hair looked like wet straw, some strands were falling out, and it was a tangled mess. This might be good for someone that has very curly hair or oily hair, but for someone with fine/thin/ hair that tends to be on the drier side, this may not work for you. I will not purchase again, and Thank You Target for refunding me.

High to Medium porosity hair, 3c-4a curls, fine strand thickness, shoulder length hair. It was easy to apply to my scalp and hair lengths, which I really liked. It has a nice sweet gingery smell. I oiled my hair overnight before washing it and still found it slightly drying with my hair feeling stringy in some sections. But I was able to detangle very easily with my hair in sections using my hands. Overall decent experience.

I really like this product and have been using it for about a couple of months. I have low porosity 3c hair and I use it before shampooing but always follow up with a moisturizing shampoo right after. Never skip shampooing! Other than that it makes my scalp feel super clean. Highly recommend!!

i have very curly hair and i have never had dandruff. after 1 time of using this my hair felt weighed down and started to itch i got lice checked because it was so red and itchy but it was just excessive dandruff. my hair gets oily quickly and i have a crazy amount if dandruff

Bottle was hard to squeeze. May have been the nozzle making it hard to use without completely removing nozzle

My only complaint is that my top doesn’t work properly. I have to remove the top in order to get product out. Aside from that I enjoy this hair cleanser.

To start, I wish I had read the FAQ as I thought I was purchasing a cleansing conditioner/co-wash. I was really disappointed when I received it and saw it was regular shampoo. It smelled really nice so I decided not to return it. The texture is really thick and almost wouldn't come out of the bottle. It did clean my hair really well with low fall-out. Combing was a nightmare though, so I would not purchase again.

I was a huge fan of Olaplex for 2+ years. I decided to try different products to help redevelop my curl pattern. This is LIFECHANGING!!! My hair has never been softer or felt cleaner. As someone who struggled with AWFUL dandruff, I didn’t think there would ever be a product to help it, however, I’m not kidding when I say this cleansing rinse has CURED the dandruff completely. I cannot recommend this product enough. My curls are beautiful, my hair is soft, and my dandruff is gone!

Have been natural for a while. Hair is 4C high porosity, medium length, tangles were a nightmare. I've tried several products throughout my journey to embrace natural curls and spent several dollars. None can hold a candle to this shampoo. The difference was noticeable after one shampoo. The comb-out was effortless (less than 5 minutes); hair loss during shampoo and afterwards was less than a quarter-size of hair. Unfreaking believable! I followed shampoo with the Camille Rose Algae deep conditioner and leave in moisture milk. My hair is like it was when I was younger, smooth, frizz free, moisturized, tangle-free. I didn't even bother to blow dry. A highly recommend this product. It cleanses without stripping, moisturizes and detangles with minimal product.

This shampoo wasn’t bad at all, nor was it great. It’s ok. Nothing to write home about, but it got the job done. In my opinion it smells exactly like the salad dressing at Benihana (or other hibachi restaurants). I personally liked the smell. It didn’t make my hair feel super moisturized nor did it make it feel super dry either. I probably wouldn’t repurchase this because I know there are better options that I’ll actually love.

I don’t know if it is me, the product made too much of “jelly” feel like; itself doesn’t strip or clean my hair really good. The smell is good/pleasant but doesn’t make any difference for my hair. will not using it again.

I used to LOVE this. Now it doesn’t actually clean my hair, even if I double cleanse. It leaves a film on it that dries out my scalp and makes my hair frizzy. I noticed others had similar issues. CLARIFY it with a sulfate (I know, I know) containing shampoo that’s pH balanced. That’s seriously the only way I got my curls and scalp back to normal. Moderately expensive for nothing. If I wanted cheap ingredients, I’d just buy cheap products.

This made my hair so smooth and soft. The lather is thick and luxurious, not like other drugstore shampoos at all. The smell is a lemon ginger scent, and it isn’t offensive or too strong at all. This does not strip my hair and I could use this every day without damaging my hair. Very happy with this product

Im Mexican and I have thick wavy/curly hair. I have healthy hair its virgin, no heat, and i trim every 2 months. The first wash I loved the way it washed my hair. After that it was nothing but downhills. Ive tried this wash for a month now and my hair SO frizzy, poofy, and dry.
