A: Co-wash can certainly work just as well on fine, straight hair. The important thing to monitor is that it doesn't cause build up that might weigh fine hair strands down and make them look dull. You can experiment with co-washing and if you notice any dulling or weighing down, it's probably time to use a sudsing (non-sulfate) shampoo to revive your volume and shine. Best of luck to you!

A: Yes & yes!! I am Caucasian of Italian ancestry with thick 2C-3A curl pattern that tends to frizz if that helps you understand my hair texture. It's great--definitely an amazing product. It doesn't weigh your hair down & it is cleansing as well as very conditioning. I've been using it for a few months now twice a week & I only shampoo about every 3 weeks. My hair is a lot healthier now.

A: Co-washing is possibly one of the best methods for color treated hair. It gives your hair a break in-between using a sudsing shampoo. When you do use a sudsing shampoo, always use a non-sulfate type. This will also keep your hair color intact longer between colorings. It may seem odd but I use two different types of co-washes, As I Am for deeper co-wash cleansing and Deva Curl No-Poo for lighter and more moisturizing co-washes. I also have a non-sulfate shampoo (Deva Curl Low-Poo) and a deeper build up remover (Deva Curl Micellar Build Up Remover). I am loving Not Your Mother's Naturals Tahitian Gardenia and Mango Butter conditioner right now also. My hair is 3b & 3c and my daughter's hair is fine, thin and straight and I can actually use many of the same products I use to co-wash and condition her hair! So certainly good products can be great for all ethnicities.

Always have a jar on hand
I have thin, high-porosity curly hair that I color and heat style, and it doesn’t hold moisture well. A lot of shampoos strip my hair easily, but this cowash works great and doesn’t leave my scalp or hair feeling dry. I don’t feel like it works as well on my ends, though, so I usually use a heavy conditioner there instead of smoothing the ends with this co-wash. I also find that using regular shampoo once a week helps to remove buildup. I still really like it!

My favorite co wash
I’m impressed by this brand. I’ve got wavy to curly hair that’s on the dry side and prone to frizz. Since I’ve been using this, my curl pattern is much better, I got less frizz and my dry scalp feels so much better. I love it when I rinse my hair It’s completely tangle free, feels nice and moisturize. AMAZING FOR MIXED HAIR
As a teen starting their hair care journey i can definitely say that i have seen so many differences in my hair, just by using this product. other co washes tend to hurt/break my hair but when i tried this it helped so much by removing the tangles, cleansing, and moisturizing all at one time!
