This product is amazing and it makes my curls soft and shinny. When you put the honey product in your hands and rub it together it gets warm. Love it and will be buying more. This is a forever product. I have curly C hair.

I love this product it's good on wet or dry hair. I like that it is not a water based moisturizer. It's very moisturizing softening. It's a great leave in. I like that you don't need to use other products with it.

Formula change

The new formula with propanediol as first ingredient has my curls frizzing like crazy. It feels great during application - very silky and great slip. But a few hours later the worst frizz I've had in years. Please change the formula back!

I was super skeptical to buy this product after reading all the bad reviews of negative experiences folks are having with the new version of Honey Hydrate but I honestly have to say I like the new version better. It's hard for me to believe this since products with chemicals often make my curly hair frizz and lose definition/body as soon as I touch my hair or go outside when there's the slightest breeze. I used to have amazing results with Burt's Bees Avocado Pre-Shampoo but then they stopped making it and I was searching high and low for another product with no chemical and minimal ingredients. I finally found it with this Honey Hydrate a couple of years ago and I was extremely disappoint to see that the new version contains less natural ingredients and more chemicals. Nevertheless, when I use Honey Hydrate it outperforms other Camille Rose products I have on the shelf, such as Curl Love and Curl Maker.

I tried the original formula and my hair didn’t like it. Decided to give it another try and my hair stayed hydrated for days. Complete opposite of my first few impressions with the original formula. I just wish it came in larger bottles.

Disappointed - 6 months ago, Verified purchaser
Camille Rose changed it's ingredients and honey is no longer the main ingredient as it was in the previous bottle design. It's now the 12th ingredient instead of the 3rd. Please correct what you are saying as it is misleading to say it's the "main" ingredient. Quality has changed. Makes hair soft but" wirey". I would rather pay more for the old recipe.

This is actually the first product where I’ve seen the results happen so instantly! You would think it would be sticky but it’s not at all in your hair! I like it because it last awhile and you don’t have to keep moisturizing your hair. I don’t have to add oil or use any other product with this one. It minimized my hair routine for the better (: The price is kind of crazy but it works and it’s worth it lol. Overall 10/10! It’s the only one I can rely on (:

Soft as cotton!!

I have read the reviews from other people complaining about the original formula being changed, and I was skeptical about using it. However, since I had already bought it, I figured I would try it for myself I used it for the first time today, and let me tell you, the original formula must have been "the sh*t" because my hair is super moisturized and soft as cotton! I don't think my hair has been this soft in a very long time. I'm very pleased with the results and I'm so glad I bought two bottles. When I run out, I'm buying two more.

Not for my 2C Wavy Hair

cjs33139 - 6 months ago, Verified purchaser
I personally didn’t like this product in my hair; I have 2C wavy thick and dry hair (I am male and they keep my hair long on top) and it just made my hair really sticky and if anything, it increased the waviness in my hair that I did not like. I am currently using it as a conditioner after shampooing and then rinsing it out.

Bought this a few weeks ago and added to my wash regimen. I used it as suggested and sealed with my green beauty herbal oil. When I took my braids down the next day to finish styling in mini twists, my hair felt very good. Very soft, juicy and shiny. This will be something I repurchase.
