Gets the job done and smells very nice. My only issue is that sometimes it feels like it just won't rinse out fully, but that's only happened when I have a lot of buildup.

This shampoo instantly makes my hair feel so smooth, healthy and soft. Detangling with it is a breeze. And my hair feels so Clean. Please don’t stop making this! My hair type is Type 4, Mostly 4B.

I was advised by a curl expert in July of 2025 to start using a clarifying shampoo. I truly don’t believe that I’ve ever used one in the past as I had no knowledge to the benefits of using one. I am not one to just browse the shelves and select the first product I see, resulting in my eight month search for a great clarifying shampoo. I’m familiar with TGIN products and loved the products I’ve used, so I thought ‘why not?’. I was most excited to use this on my daughter as I could physically see the build up on her scalp. Man, do I wish I took a before and after pic. I was (and still am) truly in awe, absolutely amazed with the results. I then used it on myself and it felt like the water was streaming down into my hair follicles. It felt…refreshing. I REALLY like this product and let me say, I am also not one to leave a review after one use of a product. BUT, the fact that I could physically see the results on my child is what made me throw my hands up and say ‘we have a winner!’ I absolutely love this product and will repurchase. Definitely five stars.

This is the best shampoo that I have ever used as a clarify it smells wonderful and the clarifying oil treatment that’s used prior to this smells heavenly if you have product buildup this is an excellent choice for you

When I tell you tgin was in their bag when they made this! Because this is it! I have color-treated hair and it does not strip it. On top of that, the lemon oil eats down!!
