[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This did exactly what I wanted from a clarifying shampoo. I tried it on my hair and two of my daughters, and we all have different hair types. It left our hair feeling really clean and removed buildup well. I would caution anyone with drier hair that it can be a little stripping, which is somewhat expected with a clarifying shampoo. I definitely recommend following with a good moisturizing conditioner or deep conditioner. The brand's deep conditioner worked perfectly afterward.

I used this product twice along with the scalp treatment and exfoliator. With the excess amount of massage, I did have a lot of hair loss with this system. I probably would not use it again. It may be good for someone who has dense hair. I have very fine and thin hair.

It provided hydration and didn't leave my hair dry like other clarifying shampoos. I would absolutely use this again

It gives my scalp and hair a really thorough clean and removes product buildup, but my hair doesn't feel completely stripped afterward. My curls feel clean, light and refreshed, and I love using it when I've gone a little heavy with styling products between wash days. You don't need a ton of product to get a good cleanse either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i loved how clean my hair and scalp felt and looked. i usually only wash my hair about once a week because it's very long and a lot of hair, but all of the build up and product i had in my hair actually came out. typically with regular shampoos i may have some white flakes sitting on top of my hair and with this shampoo i did not. my hair was so clean but not stripped. thank you bzzagent for sending me a free sample for review!

The scent is lovely, and it does an excellent job not only cleaning my hair, but cleaning my scalp, as well. This is a shampoo I wouldn't use more than once a week or once every two weeks, but it's great for when my hair and scalp have a lot of buildup or I used a lot of products in my hair.

I hoped the entire TGIN scalp system would help remove the buildup on my scalp and hair, and give me back some natural hair volume. What it did was dry out my hair and scalp, leaving them both uncomfortable and itchy. However, this singular product, minus the other two parts of the system, was the only product that I didn't have much a problem using as labeled. It is simple, wash and condition, and go. It wasn't overly drying, as long as I only used it every two washes, so about once a week. It certainly wasn't a game changer though, so I will not purchase this again. I will go back to my other brand, as it's a cream clarifying wash, more like a co-wash in consistency, that gently strips off buildup without compromising softness, comfort, and volume.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very fresh lemon scent, but it doesn't give kitchen lemon. More clean lemon shampoo. The shampoo itself is thick and super easy to massage and scrub into the scalp for that extra lather. My hair feels super clean and refreshed after using this.

I have dry scalp and this helped my scalp feel a lot more refreshed. There has been a noticeable decrease in dandruff when I use this shampoo. I have coarse hair and my hair feels softer and more moisturized with this shampoo.

I wouldn't try to detangle with this shampoo but it did not cause any tangling even after removing braids. It feels gentle enough for weekly use even though you may not need it that often.
