A: It doesn't seem so...I have the type 2 hair as well and can't seem to find any of their gel/mousse for our hair type! I have been using this and it works pretty good, but dosen't seem to hold my curls very long!

Never done my curls wrong! The key is to apply a dime size amount to sectioned off soaking wet hair. I sit under the dryer for about 30 minutes after and it’s perfect every time. I only apply once a week after my wash. First pic is my hair after about 4 days, second pic is my hair one day after applying.

This product is horrible. It doesn’t penetrate your hair and leaves it super dry. This is nothing more that cheap curl activator (think S Curl Activator) I literally washed/ conditioned my hair. Then I applied Mielle leave in conditioner and then this and my hair instantly dried out the Mielle product. I’m so disappointed Target stopped carrying The Doux C.R.E.A.M… that is what I was expecting… something more of that caliber.
