I am Arab and have thick, natural curly hair. I was recommended this product and glad I tried it. The gel works better than any I’ve ever used. My hair isn’t frizzy or too heavy, and when I rinse it out, it makes my hair feel very soft. I wouldn’t recommend using a lot, but this stuff works better than any other mainstream gel I’ve ever used.

I have high porosity 4b/4C hair and it has been a battle finding products. These products not only smell great but work amazingly. I followed the directions and decided to diffuse once I added the curl stimulator. If you are a lazy natural, I would not recommend these products as I divided my hair into smaller sections and applied the first 4 products to each section being sure to really work the products into my hair. I haven’t used the thirsty curls just yet but I must say, this wash day went way smoother than I thought!

The leave in conditioner has a nice smell. For my wash n go I used the Extra Butter followed by the Curl Stimulator gel. When applying it seemed promising - curls were becoming defined and elongated. Unfortunately, after diffusing the curls shrunk. There was some curl definition but overall the curls were way too soft. I mean the whole point of using a gel is to have some hold. The gel had zero hold. There was also quite a bit of residue I could see on my pick as I was combing through (lifting my curls at the roots) and the curls felt a bit sticky/slimy. I layered with my favorite Aussie spray gel hoping to get some hold but even that couldn’t seem to firm up the curls. Glad I got this sample version instead of paying full price. My fav remains the Mixed Chicks Curl Sculptor followed by Innersense gel for my wash n gos. Curls are a bit “crunchy” after diffusing but a bit of coconut oil breaks it up a bit and then I layer with Aussie Spray Gel which adds hold without adding to the “crunch”. I haven’t found a combination that works as well as this. For reference I have very fine, soft, rather loose TWA curls (my hair never tangles).

I have very coily and dry 4C Hair!! This product has truly amazed me with how soft my hair feels and how moisturized it is. It does not leave a greasy feeling and my coils honestly pop!! I think I've found my go to!!

I started using the curl activator gel on my daughter a few months ago and loved it. I bought this travel set to take to a cheer competition for her and the rest of the product line does not disappoint

My curls are probably a 3a. It makes your curls nice yes for about a day or two. Then your hair starts to feel a little stiff and dry. I had to keep spraying the leave in conditioner at work to keep my hair presentable and fresh looking.

Thse products are perfect for everyday use and easy to travel with. They give my hair bouncy, curlyl soft and shiny curls that are easy to maintain. No flaking! I am so happy my daughter introduced me to these products. I dissovered that I got a much better price purchasing them from a local chain store rather than ordering them from a third party online.

It made my daughter’s hair very dry and stringy. Also made the curls heavy and did not detangle.

I have 3B/3C bi-racial hair. Smells great (the revitalize curl spray is a bit strong though) but it completely dried out my hair. I wanted to love this but this product is not for me.

Dehydrating product. Also has coconut. Might be great for wavy hair but not for curlier 3c and up.

I think I have 2c hair, but honestly wearing it waving/curly has always been such a nightmare so I usually straighten it. I bought this set to try something new and WOW —so much better than anything I have ever tried in the past! Smells great and doesn’t weigh my hair down. I did add a bit of gel after the 3 main steps. Even when I brushed my waves out, my hair wasn’t sticky or heavy. Highly recommend, even for wavy novices like myself.

I have type 3B hair. This brand was recommended to me by a stylist a few years ago. I got this trial pack as a way to test a few of the things in their line without having to spend a lot of money up front. The quality is amazing. A little goes a long way, so these small bottles can last a while if you use them right!

My curls felt dehydrated on the ends. Reapplying left some build up on day two when applying together.

K love how I can try everything on my 4c low porosity hair before getting full sized bottles and it not work. I’ve bought this three times because I’m a little heavy handed and run out of something different each time but it last awhile before I need to get more.
