A: It says flexible hold on bottle’s description and I think that’s pretty accurate. It makes my hair very soft, but I when I run my hands threw my hair 4b 4c hair, the curls bounce back and hold it well

Best 1-Step Hair Product!
I was a little hesitant about this item because my hair never trusts 1-step products but it is so good. I have 4a/4b hair, very thick, prone to humidity and frizz. At first I tried it with leave in conditioner and the Chief Rocka and my curls looked so good! I followed up with the TGIN butter cream and this product and my hair came out even better! It smells so good, gives great definition and hold without my hair being crunchy. 10/10. All of the doux products are amazing!

Left Hair Super Dry
I have a curly human hair wig and have been experimenting with different products to get the style I want which is more of a slick/wet defined curls. I found a great product (Mixed Chicks Curl Sculptor) but wanted to give this a try thinking it'll be lighter/less build-up and based on all the great reviews. I washed and dried the hair so no other product was on it. I wet the hair and applied this product according to instructions and at first it was very promising. The curls were shiny and very defined. However, within one hour as the hair dried it began to pouf up a bit. Within another couple of hours the wig was completely dry looking and afro-like. I am incredibly disappointed because again I have tried several other products previously and never got the result I had gotten with this. And with the high price....wow I will be returning as soon as I can. Definitely sticking with the Mixed Chicks.

This IS Chief Rocka!!!
This is the best gel I've ever used, and it really does what it says. I am mixed with very fine hair that's also super curly. This gives me a nice medium hold and is very easy to apply since it's a foam. I was shocked at how unbelievably soft and shiny it leaves my hair, with very little cast and NO flaking. LOVE THIS STUFF!!!

Low Porosity, Thin, Low Density Curls
I have thin low density hair that's also low porosity. You can imagine how EASILY it gets weighed down😩 I've been hesitant to try The Doux products as every review video I've seen is folks with thick high density hair. Well, I finally gave this foam a try as my low porosity hair has a hard time absorbing moisture. I really like this foam, it gives my hair incredible shine and definitely makes it feel moisturized. I find I do need to spray my hand with water to dilute the foam before applying because if I don't, then it's too heavy for my hair. Omg this is by far the best mousse i have ever tried!!! It leaves my hair soft and shiny and there is no hard cast. Honestly the best one. I do wish though, that they would improve hoe much comes out with one pump. I have a lot of hair and by the time im done styling one day, i have almost half of the bottle left. So its only lasting me a couple of uses.

Ughhhh this is the best mousse ive ever tried my gosh!!! I just need to figure out how to refresh my curls the next day without my hair having a stiff cast throughout my hair. But other than that AMAZINGGGGGG!!! Dont even get my started on how soft and SHINY it leaves my hair!

LOVE IT for 2C-3A curls
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. It smells amazing- very subtly like banana and idk what else. I have 2C-3A Irish curls. It makes my hair shiny, bouncy, soft, and defined WITHOUT completely flattening it. This Chief Rocka magical foam has cut the time it takes to style my hair in half. After towel drying my hair (to get dressed), I lightly re-wet my hair and sectioned it. Then I brushed it with the denman brush and applied the product using the “prayer hands” method. After a quick scrunch, I left it alone to air dry. Once it was completely dry, I separated the curl clumps. AND THATS IT. I’ve done a 5 minute refresh in the morning (adding a bit more water to my hair to separate the curls) and the style lasted 5 days in the Georgia summer humidity. I never write reviews for hair products and definitely never include photos. I just love this product and need curlies like me to know about it.

I was influenced to buy chief rocka & I will say that I see the hype. I have noticed that it doesn’t do well on my curls on its own. I have to pair it with another product (like the honey dip or 808 base gel) to see the results on my curls. But overall, it will be repurchase.
