A: Yes, my hair is a 2a/2b, but it dries into a knotted mess if I leave it in a bun too long. Works best when used with a sturdy brush while my hair is completely dry to soften the hair for detangling.

It is a great leave-in conditioner after shampooing and makes combing much more manageable. Start detangling with a wide-tooth comb at the ends, and work your way up to the roots of the hair. My hair insists on trying to mat at the roots and tends to break easily at the ends when I detangle with brushes, but using this has significantly cut back on that. My ends no longer have a raggedy bottle-brush look to them. I used the Pattern detangler previously, but it flaked very badly even with sparse amounts on my wet clean hair. This product has been much better, no flakes, and has helped ease the process of getting tangles out after a wash. Will be my go-to.

This product makes my hair so easy to detangle and I have hair that tangles VERY easily. I like to do protective styles like twists and flat twist quite often and this makes it so much easier to part and brush/comb. I will definitely be adding this to my wash days.

This product is an instant HIT with my hair texture! Wavy, & mid-lenth ....my hair gets tangled and madded very easily. I grew up using TCB/detangler. Now, as an adult....I have to section my hair in 4 equal parts, and even with sectioning, it took hours, to comb out! "KNOT ON MY WATCH" is EVERYTHING!!! I pray this product never gets discontinued!

I recently used this product as a leave in for my wash n go and I loved it! I have really thick type 4 hair that gets tangled easily, so much so that I have to detangle 3-4 times during the styling process. This product melted the tangles out my hair, and was the perfect leave in to use under my styler!
