A: Can be used as a regular rinse out conditioner for wavy hair or as a leave-in for thicker curlier hair types. An excellent product to use after removing braids and extensions. **TIP- When using this product as a leave-in, apply in the shower and rinse with a little water to evenly distribute the conditioner.

I have low porosity, 2b hair & wash daily. I struggle to find products but this one was a game changer for me. I’m on the third bottle of this (rare bc i usually NEVER like a product enough to purchase it again). One bottle last me several months (i have think, long hair). The formula is not greasy & has a light scent.

My 14 year old son has long curly hair that mats and tangles so easily. Even when we are completely on top of his hair game in our house, it's difficult to keep the knots out. But when he goes to sleepaway camp, the situation gets ten times worse. All hair routine goes out the window. Which I understand, he's just a kid having fun and I love that for him, but he comes back with a MESS on his head! I have tried what feels like every detangler on the market to deal with these situations, with limited (usually poor) results. Knot Today is the first one that has unambiguously helped in a big way. It was still a challenge to comb out his hair after camp, don't get me wrong. It never won't be a challenge unless he decides to cut it off. But Knot Today made the process about 85% easier than it was last year. Can't recommend it enough! It will be my go-to moving forward. Don't know what they put in this bottle, but it works.

I have wavy, thick, low prositiy hair. Even if I just use a tiny bit of this stuff on the end, it makes my hair feel hard and like there is some filmy residue. I tried mixing a dollop with water in a spray bottle but honestly don't even know if it does anything when I do that. I think it is just too heavy for my low porosity hair, so could work for other hair types. it does detangle but just feels horrible.

Trying to find yet another detangling product that works this isn't it. The smell was off and a bit too strong for me, but more importantly this didn't detangle or help to add slip. This was a bottle of nothing.

I've been using this as my leave in conditioner for 5 years and you only need a very small amount. I do it in sections. I would say if you use this as detangler in the shower it become quite expensive, especially if you have lots of hair. I detangle using coconut oil in sections prior to washing to make it easier and also saves water while in the shower. The scent is wonderful and not overwhelming. Try it.

Ideal for POC. Worked perfect for my boys three different curl patterns and hair density. This is very natural product as in the ingredients are. It should not be used with many other products. This was such a strange leave in conditioner. I applied it to soaking wet hair and immediately my hair started to dry up. The rest of the week it was rough, dry, and frizzy. I ended up washing my hair earlier than usual. I was so excited to try this because it is so well reviewed and many people suggest it as it is protein free and glycerin free but it didn’t work on my hair.
