I love the smell. I do use it on my natural hair. Rather it’s for a twist out or just to apply to my hair even it it’s going in a puff. Price wise I do wish it was cheaper. But what can you say? 🤷🏽♀️ inflation! So a pea size goes a long way .

I was googling low porosity hair products and this came up. For the price, it’s really worth a shot without breaking the bank. When I first put it on, I couldn’t get over the slip I got and curl definition. Only a few moments after, my hair started to frizz up and I had tons of wet frizz. I tried it twice and put it in my giveaway section. Also, the smell I did like to be honest. But for the price it’s worth to try.

I'm in general more of a 40% AJ fan anyway; just can't find the right product out of the line. I wanted to give Jackie another shot, see what she's talking about with this Quench. My criteria for my tight-shaved 4C natural are that a leave-in 1) have real, strong foundation to it, where I notice that my scalp hasn't tightened up in dryness hours later; 2) NOT be so thick as to be basically a twist cream or something; 3) is easy to manage (read: can I slap this baby on in <10min before flying out the door to work?); and 4) LO IMPORTANTE, doesn't leave a thick, white, non-absorbent cap over my hair. This leave-in not only feels as thin as water-- not a bit of slip-- but I had to rub for minutes to get it sufficiently blended in. Another not for me, Jackie. Until we meet again.

I have wavy curly hair that frizzes easily and my daughter has Shirley temple curls that tangle and frizz easily. This didn’t do really anything for the frizz. It has a silky watery base and still easily weighed down our hair. I wouldn’t purchase again.
