Bought this because of some of the positive reviews! Upon using this product made my hair hard not soft! Looking at the ingredients, anything with HYDRO connected to it in conditioners you should not use on your hair! Just threw the whole jar away!!

The most Amazing product I've ever used. My hair is soft and moist, detangled with a feeling of firmness after using only once. Also the smell is quite pleasant. Please consider making more available. Thank you so much!

i have been using this product for around 10 months now that i have gone natural. I love it , it is my go to products . Others have not done it for me.

Bought this two weeks ago at target, I finally used it recently as an alternative leave in product to my shea butter I use as a leave in. I washed my hair last night and put in the cream, no issues and went on smooth. Today as I went to work, I noticed in the mirror literally flakes in my hair and a lot of it. Mind you this a whole 12 hours after I washed my hair and prepped it for the next day. Super disappointed in this product I wanted to give African pride a chance and they just ended up disappointing me again. Unfortunately this will be the last time I will use their products because I’ve heard this is a recurring issue. And no I shouldn’t have to put a little bit of product in my hair so it doesn’t flake, that shouldn’t be the case esp with the fact my hair is high porosity and requires a lot of product to maintain moisture so I don’t want to hear that mess. So TL;DR save yourself the trouble and don’t get this product. And I would like to add quickly this product is hydrating and was very affective as a leave in cream but I won’t sacrifice hair buildup and flakes that look like literal dandruff for this product.

This is my go to product whether I’m wearing my hair straight or curly. I use to be a full time curly girl, but honestly it’s too much work. The length of my hair is at my rib cage was longer but I cut it. This product is amazing bc I have extremely wavy hair and if I have. Silk press I can still use this product on my hair the very next day and only hair will not covert! By the end of the day the product has soaked in but my edge aren’t overly curly allowing my silk press to last. I hope this product is never discontinued bc the formula is it! I’ve tried other products from the company and this the only that gives me the results I mentioned above.

I have natural curly hair and I am Caucasian. I have never found a product to give me life to my curls and still feel soft until I tried this product. I absolutely love this and it works miracles!! Wish I had tried this long ago! I will always use this in my hair!

This is a great product, but overnight I can no longer purchase this item at Target. This makes me sad because it actually made a difference for me. What happened?!!

This product smells amazing and leaves your hair hydrated. However, it is not good for styling wash and go’s. It weighs the hair down, and your curls will be frizzy despite using their styling gel.

I tend to stay away from products that contain because my hair doesn’t tend to like it but this product hair has honestly made my hair feel so soft and made my curls look great. The only thing I will say I don’t like is that I am on day 3 hair and noticed white flakes all over my hair as shown in picture. I can honestly say I have no other complaints.

Moisture? Yes. Excellent curl definition? Yes. Traumatic flaking? Absolutely. I loved how my hair looked after using this leave-in after a wash-and-go, but I was quite embarrassed at the amount of flaking that occurred.

I was never able to have my hair down unless I washed it on that day but now I can have down whenever I want, I just wet my hair a little and add some cream, it did miracles. Me and my daughter can’t live without me anymore

There aren't a lot of texture friendly hair products that are affordable and actually work. This formula doesn't have a buttery consistency that contributes to long term. moisture. When I applied it to my hair, it seemed like all it added was water and oil. On top of that, it felt as if I applied menthol straight to my scalp (my hair follicles felt more open and they were tingling). Once it dried, my hair felt brittle as if it were going to break off. I don't think anyone with coils are curls should buy this if you're looking for long term moisture that lasts up to a week. I have curl/coily hair and it didn't do anything for me.

Have dry weak 4c hair. This leave in great when followed with castor oil as sealer. Lasts 5 days & that's a first for me.

I have curly hair that is prone to dryness, breakage, and split ends. Ultimately, I was disappointed that this leave-in conditioner didn’t moisturize my hair better. This product has a lovely creamy texture that makes it a pleasure to use, and it does make my hair look more moisturized right after I use it, so if you’re mostly interested in the appearance of your hair, this might be fine for you. I want a leave-in conditioner that actually leaves my hair feeling hydrated even the next day and keeps it from dryness over time. I used this product every day for about three weeks, and my hair just got dryer and more brittle the more I used it. I’m switching to a different leave-in conditioner. Disappointing.

I love this product, I like to apply it when I wash my hair,not oily, no more frezz, my hair looks healthy.
