Here are my thoughts: the texture is rather thick and not runny, the scent is mild and not offensive (think like coconut scent), and moisturizing. I attempted a twist out, it did hold up my curls but not for more than 3 days and the hair needs more moisture the older it got.

My hair felt super soft and moisturized, and the aloe + coconut combo really helped with frizz control. I also noticed great shine and bounce after styling. A little goes a long way, which I appreciate. The only thing I wish is that the scent lasted a bit longer, but overall it’s become one of my new favorite curl products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Curl Smoothie has been consistently effective at producing great styles. A little goes a long way. I have been using it for twist outs, and they come out soft with volume and movement everytime. I get definition the first day, but even after further "fluffing" they still maintain a pattern without a ton of frizz. The scent very light. The only drawback is that my scalp doesn't tolerate lot of oil. After about six weeks of consistent use, I started seeing flakes.

I was hesitant because I was not too familiar with some of the ingredients non the less they worked amazingly. I have tight coils and the pre wash made the entire process much more manageable. It smells amazing and clean. The containers came full of the product which will be able to be used for multiple washes. Excited to see if it truly give me the hydration that my hair has been lacking but so far so good.
