Q: Is there still joboba oil in this? I used this recently and dried out my hair so bad and noticed the formula changed and there was no longer joboba oil in it.

I am an Autism mom of a 14 year old daughter that insists on having long hair. It's super thick, there is a lot of it, and it has just enough wave to make it difficult to do anything with. I don't use this as a mask as much as I use it in the shower to get her tangles out. I know you're not supposed to stretch wet hair or brush it but I put it in and comb the tangles out and it works great. I have the avocado oil formula and I seen a lot of bad reviews but I haven't noticed her hair falling out or anything. She rocks a lot and her hair would rub against the couch and mat into huge knots.Every day after shower it was a fight to get all knots out. After conditioner and oil and leave in conditioner. Now we have no trouble at all. It's been a big help for us. I'm ordering a new bottle.

I’ve been using this product for over 10 years. This new formula leaves my hair drier. It also has less slip making it more difficult to detangle my hair. My heart is a little broken because this was the only product that helped me detangle my hair with ease and leave it moisturized. I don’t like coconut so I never touched the 3 minute miracle curls. Now I have to search for a new deep conditioner.

This used to be the best conditioner on the market, it had avocado oil and jojoba oil in it. My recent purchase I noticed it's only avocado oil now. And worse still, I paid the same price. There is way too many people writing reviews who are easily impressed with subpar ingredients. Ladies, I need you to stop thinking of yourselves as consumers- You are human beings who deserve the best. I'm not going to sit here to praise and glorify these companies who are thinking only of their pockets, While my hair suffers. Nope. It's time for companies to do better. Starting with putting back the jojoba oil I expected in this overpriced conditioner. In the meantime, I will buy from a better brand. Tip: if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

This product used to contain JOJOBA OIL. The tile says it does (which is false). The ingredients on the bottle do not contain jojoba oil any longer, it only lists avocado oil now. This product used to be AMAZING but now leaves my hair dry. My hair has also been coming out in clumps lately and I’ve realized (thanks to other reviews) that the hair loss started around the time I started using the most recent bottle of this product I’ve purchased. I do not recommend this new “detangling” formula, it is not good. It’s certainly not worth the price (or any price). This formula leaves my hair dry and, as other reviewers have noticed, falling out.

I have natural hair and heard this would be a good quick conditioner for those days when I don’t want to deep condition. It worked great, had nice slip, and made finger detailing less of a process. Also, after rinsing it out I still was able to detangle with a tool with ease and could have forgone my leave in spray. Definitely going to keep this with the wash day products.
