I have been racking my brain as to why my curls were coming out frizzy and weighed down when I THOUGHT I had been using the same products. Now I realize this is a completely different formula! Shame on me for not realizing the name was different but this is super disappointing. Dear Tresemme, Do you even understand the time and money curly girls put into finding the right products for their hair? Do you know how disruptive and expensive it is to have to find new products when a company "improves" their formula? Usually it’s either too sticky, too crunchy, or it promises “soft, bouncy curls” and then leaves me looking like I wrestled a tumbleweed. But TRESemmé Flawless Curls Moisturizing Mousse with Coconut Oil? Total game changer. The ingredients feel like they were actually chosen with curly hair in mind—hello, coconut oil for hydration without weighing things down. My curls drank it up. The texture is airy and fluffy (not that weird shaving cream foam some mousses give you), so it melts right into damp hair without any buildup. The scent is light, clean, and just a little tropical thanks to the coconut—nothing overpowering, but enough that my hair smells fresh all day. As for volume and hold, this is the sweet spot: my curls have bounce and definition without the stiff “crunch” that makes you want to wash your hair all over again. It’s touchable, soft, and still manages to hold up against humidity. In short, this mousse gave me curls that actually behave—defined, moisturized, and full of volume. If curls could say “thank you,” mine definitely would.

This product is so good and has really upped my hair goal as it really locks in all the moisture and defines the curls More. I use it when I go traveling so I don’t have to worry too much about my hair care routine. The smell is really good and does not contain any harsh chemicals like other products might

I've been using flawless curls for many years and recently they changed the formula. It went from having avocado oil & coconut oil with a level 4 hold to only coconut oil level 3 hold. I now have build up and extremely dry scalp. I now have to find something else to use for my curls. Its unfortunate because it worked really good.

I honestly like this mousse a lot. It left my hair looking fully and defined. It does leave your hair crunchy and a little goes a long way so be sure to scrunch it out with oil. The scent is a little too artificial and chemically for me. It also made my hair greasy faster but it’s worth it for the definition and hold sometimes. If you have curly hair and it doesn’t get greasy as fast, then I recommend you try it if you don’t mind the smell.

Did they change the formula? The original flawless curls package matches ingredients listed on tblhe back but this is not the same, there is no way. My 2a and 3a curls thrived on the original and been trying my new bottle. Even putting it in my hair feels, off. Like the density of the foam is less and slip factor isn't there. Also they have it updated showing a hold level 4 on the original and now with bouncy curls shows a 3

My hair is so tricky—not straight, but not quite curly. I try to encourage the waviness so I can avoid a blow dryer or straightener, and I love this product for what it helps me achieve! Not only does this mousse hold my waves all day (without any stickiness or crunch), it adds so much volume and shine. I put it in, wrap my hair in a towel, then air dry it.
