They changed the formula on extra hold mousse (Nov 2025) and didn’t change the can telling us. It is absolutely awful. I have used this for years and had to go find another brand. Terrible change they made, done with this brand.

The new formula is horrible!!! I have been using Tresemme for over 25 years. I guess it’s time for a change because the new formula does not work well. My hair is continually dry and frizzy. Why change a product when it was working so well? The OLD formula was great!

This Tres Four Extra Hold used to be great
I have used this product for many years. I used to buy 4-6 bottles at a time. Lately it has been harder to find. I finally found it and it is horrible. When you use it, it smells like fish. I tried it several times and it is always the same fish smell. Beside the smell, it does not hold like it used to. It will last maybe 3 hours then my hair goes flat. I will have to find another brand of hairspray.

Changed original formulas too bad
I used to love this mousse more than any other because it had hold and the "crunch" before styling is what made it so great. It was unmatched in taming frizz. They've changed their formulas now and it's very soft. I'm still using it but am searching for one that is like, how this one, used to be.

Horrible
I got this mousse to try since my regular brand wasn't available. I honestly hate it. First of all there is an overwhelming scent of alcohol when dispensing the product which made me immediately regret my purchase.

I hate the changes
I’ve been using this hairspray for 10 years and recently something changed. It doesn’t have the holding power anymore, it’s like I sprayed nothing into my hair. My curls droop and won’t hold an hour. The smell is also funky now. I hate what you’ve changed and I’m looking for a new favourite hairspray. You lose customers when you do these things. Makes me so mad.
