[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to see Dove offering a combination of two of my favorite flavors, strawberry and vanilla! I’m not normally a chocolate person, but the light shell surrounding the ice cream is a perfect thickness, and a great complement to the ice cream inside. My main qualm is that I found no indication on the packaging of the individual portions as to what flavor was inside. I opened two (which both were vanilla), and finally got a “strawberry” on my third try. There were subtle red specks within the ice cream, but no distinguishable strawberry flavor (and if there was, it was overtaken by the dark chocolate drizzle) - the vanilla was delightful, however! Perfect for a little treat!

The ice cream itself is soft texture from the filling & crunch on the outside from the chocolate layer. I however did not like that the chocolate is dark chocolate & it was overly a bit too sweet for my liking.

The chocolate is rich and decedent and the ice cream is perfectly creamy. Perfect size too just enough to satisfy a sweet tooth but not feel full. The box has the perfect amount too.

The vanilla is smooth and creamy and the strawberry is a light refreshing flavor. The dove chocolate shell has the perfect snap and melts in your mouth. These are definitely mini, so I’ve been having two at a time. The only weird thing for me is that there doesn’t seem to be a flavor on the individual packaging so I’m not sure if I’ll end up with vanilla or strawberry.
