Beginning on the surface, start your ocean descent alongside coral, fish, sea horses and polar bears.
Watch as the scale maps the depth as you are transported deeper and deeper into the water, swimming among marine creatures that are so far below the surface very few humans have experienced them.
With a unique format that takes readers underwater and beyond, Down in the Blue Ocean is an immersive experience that explores the different zones of the ocean. Learn about the first submarine to land on the ocean floor, discover a giant squid with the largest eyes in the animal kingdom and watch as the water gradually turns from bright blue on the surface to the darkest black on the very bottom. Are you ready? All you have to do is dive in and begin this incredible journey.
