About the Author

Down Round is the debut novel by Mike Armsby, a five-time CFO of private and public fintech and cleantech companies in and around Silicon Valley. Armsby has led numerous financings (though no "down rounds,") and managed several company exits, including three acquisitions and one initial public offering. Mike is a graduate of Harvard Business School and the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and College of Arts & Sciences. He is an avid hiker and Eagle Scout and lives in Portola Valley, California, with his wife Aimee. They have four children and one grandchild.
