Very Disappointed
I was really disappointed with this scent booster. My daughter and I LOVE vanilla scented stuff, and I was really excited to make her clothes smell like vanilla, but there is hardly any smell. This is a complete waste of money. Maybe the clothes smell a little bit fresh, but definitely not like vanilla and honestly, I can’t really smell anything.

It might help to know that all of our In-Wash Scent Booster Beads, such as our Downy Comfy Cozy + Toasted Vanilla, are best used when a sufficient amount is added to the drum first. You can always add more for a bigger impact. Also, super high temps and/or super long dry times in tumble dryers may zap some of the perfume, so try using a lower heat and shorter dry time if possible. Smells funky. Does not smell like anything close to vanilla. Bought 3, used it a couple of times. Smells weird. Unfortunately i didn’t try it until the return window closed, or i would have definitely returned it.

How do you go wrong with Vanilla Scent?!
How does one go wrong with Vanilla? Somehow Downy did. The smell is horrible! I love taking a deep whiff of my clothes fresh from the dryer, and when I smelled this, I immediately put in my other beads and washed everything again. I tossed this out. Yech!

Man this made my clothes sooo noticeably soft, but unfortunately it gave them no scent at all. It smells great in the bottle, but that doesn’t translate to the clothes after doing laundry.

Downy Scent Booster in Toasted Vanilla isn’t bad, but honestly, I wasn’t impressed. Clothes come out smelling nice for a little while, but the scent disappears way too quickly. It’s fine if you just want a brief vanilla hint, but don’t expect to be wowed or have your laundry smelling bakery-fresh all day.
