It must upsetting that the scent on your clothing was too light for your liking. We understand scent is a very subjective matter, and we appreciate you providing us with this feedback, but this is definitely not the type of experience we want you to go through. The amount of beads used per load can be adjusted to meet individual choice of the amount of scent desired. Larger loads need more beads than small loads to deliver the desired amount of scent. The less you use, the less scent. The scent beads are added into the washer right with your laundry. The beads will slowly dissolve through the wash and rinse cycle, maximizing the time for the scent to absorb into the fabric. Super high temps and/or super long dry times in tumble dryers may zap some of the perfume, so I’d simply suggest using lower heat and shorter dry times if possible. To remove odors, rewash clothes in the hottest water safe for the fabric using the recommended detergent and fabric softener, and add bleach if the item is bleach-safe. Clean your washing machine regularly according to the owner's manual and consider doing a service wash. To prevent odors, perform monthly machine clean-outs with a washing machine cleaner, promptly remove clothes after washing and drying, and keep the washer door open between uses to air it out. Avoid overloading the washer, wash smaller loads for heavy items, use the recommended or extra detergent for large or heavily soiled loads, and always use the hottest water safe for the garment. Ensure fabrics are completely dry before storing, pre-treat stains for up to 30 minutes, and avoid drying clothes in high-humidity areas. We want you to know that our scent beads are filled by weight, not volume, and the weight of beads in the pack and the number of washes you can expect to get from the pack is clearly stated. For awareness, the bottles are not designed to be filled to the top because we intentionally leave space not only for the product to settle, but to also help with pouring.
