A: Hi, thank you for contacting Dr. Bronner's! Our Sal Suds Biodegradable Cleaner is a mild detergent (not a soap) and is our hard surface all-purpose cleaner made of plant-based surfactants with natural spruce and fir needle oils. Due to Sal Suds being a detergent and not a soap, we don’t recommend using it for the body. It is best to use it specifically as an all-purpose household cleaner. A: Thank you for reaching out to Dr. Bronner's! Our Sal Suds Biodegradable Cleaner is an excellent all-purpose cleaner that can be used on just about any hard surface. To do so, just combine 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Sal Suds with 1 qt. (1 L) water or in a spray bottle. We suggest adding the water first then the detergent to avoid a bubble party. Then all you need to do is spray down your surfaces and wipe them down with a damp cloth. I like Dr. Bronner's products so when I saw Sal Suds, I had to try it. I have a favorite workout shirt that had a large set-in stain that wouldn't come out no matter what I tried. I love this product because it got all the stain out. I placed the shirt in a plastic tub, added just enough water to keep it wet, and added Sal Suds to cover the large stain. I rubbed it in and used a brush, left it over night, and used the brush again and the stain was all gone.

I've had an ongoing issue for years with skin sensitivity. Right when I thought it was better, it would get worse! From hives, to itching, to chronic yeast infections...nothing was going to make it better. Until I switched to Sal Sads!!! I have not had an irritation since. It's the perfect detergent and household cleaner

My Family has been using Magic Soap for just about everything for nearly as long as I can remember. It’s incredible for washing produce. We recently added Sal Suds to the mix and I’m pretty sure we’ll never purchase any other soap or detergent ever agin. At least we certainly don’t plan to!

Amazing product, cleans great, suds up wonderfully. I now use it as laundry detergent and keep some in a spray bottle (diluted of course) by the kitchen sink for quick clean up of the countertop as well as spray a little squirt on dishes or pots or pans instead of expensive dish soap, but don't squirt much because a little goes a long way even diluted.
So many ways to use this product a must have !

Sal Suds is my go-to for cleaning all around the house. I've been using it for my laundry, and just a quick glug is enough to get a whole load clean and fresh! I love the fragrance (the scent does NOT linger on fabric or surfaces like perfumes, but leaves a freshness behind.)
