So it has 32 pages, all the "paintings" are printed on one side, which is good. But that means you get a total of 16. The book is about a quarter inch thick. By contrast, the Harry Potter Paint With Water is 80 pages, printed on one side. It has about 15 pages you can paint with water, and the remaining 25 are coloring pages. Even though the HP has more pages, the inks and pictures aren't as good quality. The colors/inks on the Usbourne brand are much better. Every color is vivid, the HP book was inconsistent and overly detailed for this kind of thing. I had also wished that it was made more clear for the HP book that over half the book was regular coloring pages, which wasn't what I was looking for. I was looking for something I could do and not have to think at all when I'm too tired think and just want to do something to relax. A difference from what I recall as a kid, I think it was possible to sort of tell what color the inks were. Here it's a surprise and sometimes I'm not sure where I should or shouldn't be painting, or I accidentally smudge colors together, not knowing two colors are adjacent to each other. I can't speak to the quality of the paintbrush, I used a water brush with self contained reservoir. It just seems like having a cup of water is an accident waiting to happen, and could ruin the drawing/book. I didn't always have good control of the water coming out of the waterbrush I used in place of the paintbrush, the page does warp, but even though I forgot to put the book flap between the page I was painting and the one behind it, the page behind did not end up affected. To me it seems a bit expensive for 16 pages, but for others it may be good.
