DIRECTIONS FOR USE: 1) POUR 1/2 BOTTLE SLOWLY INTO DRAIN
2) WAIT FOR 15-30 MINUTES
3) FLUSH DRAIN WITH HOT WATER
REPEAT STEPS IF NECESSARY

Q: can you use it on toilets ?

A: DRANO does NOT WORK & they will NOT REFUND as guarantee says!!!! They did reply and then NEVER REFUNDED. We used LIQUID PLUMBER and it worked well. Don't WASTE your MONEY on DRANO, buy LIQUID PLUMBER.

Q: How do I know how much of this product to pour into my bathtub drain without having a measuring cup? I do not know how to eye it on pouring in 1/5 a cup of 80 oz

Not working on a clogged sink
Our sink is clogged and we've used Drano on it twice now with no noticeable change at all. We've typically had good luck on our shower drain, so I'm not sure what it isn't working. Maybe the formula changed? The smell is also overwhelming. At this point, I can't recommend it.

I think it helped a little. However it didn't really remove the entire clogs. I still had to use a little bit of a plumbing snake to get a little bit of hair out to prevent the sink from still backing up. I've used liquid plumber before and that actually seems to work better than Drano.
