Q: Is the floss "ribbon like' the former Listerine ultraclean mint floss?

A: Smart Floss® is a little different from a traditional ribbon floss, sometimes called dental tape. It’s made with multifilament fibers that expand to create a larger surface area for grabbing plaque and food particles, but it can also be pulled tight to fit between tighter spaces. So while it’s not technically a dental tape, it does have that soft, “ribbon-like” feel when expanded.
I had tried Dr. Tung's once before but didn't like it. I had used Glide floss for years, but the change in formulation has made it unusable. I decided to try Dr. Tung's again and really love it now. I'm amazed at how well it cleans between and around the teeth. If you are unhappy with Glide (read the reviews), you have to try this one. n
