Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo Coconut Colada Scent - 3.8oz - Ulta Beauty

This used to be my all time favorite dry shampoo. Recently, the formula has changed and now it doesnt work like it used to. The old bottles I have would have a powdery mist to it and I could visibly see the dry shampoo in my hair and it would absorb oil. NOW?? now it leaves my hair more greasy- doesnt absorb anything and a complete waste of money now. Will be using other dry shampoo brands for now on.

I was so excited when the coconut scent came out! I used to LOVE Drybar Dry Shampoo. However, the last 4 bottles I've purchased, the spray mechanism has stopped working after a few uses. I tried everything to get it to work but nothing comes out. I shake the bottle and can hear it's practically full. I returned it twice but was told I can't return it anymore. I've purchased it in-store and online but it keeps happening so I have given up and am switching brands. I'm so sad.

It breaks my heart to write this, but NO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this product! I used it for many years and told everyone I knew it was the best dry shampoo on the market. Something has changed with the formula and now it makes my hair more greasy instead of soaking up the oil. Not sure what happened or why— it was absolutely petfect before. I see Drybar is gifting it out in exchange for positive reviews, but listen to the honest ones… this product sucks now.

This used to be my favorite dry shampoo of all time. I used to stock up and have multiple at a time, but now they've changed the recipe or something and it's awful. It's just spraying out wet liquid with no absorbing powder and just sits on your hair. It actually makes it more greasy and less clean! I ordered two more thinking it was just a bad batch, but they're all turning out the same. I've had to throw away all three bottles and together that all cost a lot of money. Im vwry disappointed in this product/brand now, and Ive made the switch to Living Proof brand dry shampoo.

The Coconut Colada has a nice smell and I am sensitive to fragrances. I wait a couple of minutes after spraying and rub it in slightly. It adds a little volume and freshens my hair!

I have used Dry Bar detox dry shampoo for years and I love it! I see some complaints about the smell and I dont get it. It smells great like a clean fresh scent and doesnt remind me of "old lady smell". It absobrs oils well and leaves my hair feeling clean. You need to shake the bottle for about 15-20 seconds before you use it and if it gets clogged run the nozzle under hot water.

The product itself is great…if you could onky use it. The can always breaks or clogs and stops working.

I don't know how many times I've repurchased this dry shampoo! It is my go to whenever I need a refresh. Since I use dry shampoo often, I purchase this size. I don't notice a difference in formula versus the standard size. Smells great, does a great job of refreshing my hair, and makes my hair look great!

I got this as my free bday gift. It works great. It smells terrible. I smelled it ALL day. Threw it away.

Overpriced for mediocre results at best. I bought a full size and a mini bottle. Mini was empty after 2 uses. May have got 4 uses out of the full size before the nozzle stopped spraying. Leaves my head feeling itchy and you have to use a ton for results. Will never buy again.

This stuff leaves the worst white residue on literally everything. Dont wear black when you use it. It will get all over thenplace. Also the sprayer kept getting clogged. I got so frustrated woth it I threw it away.

This smells SOOOOOOO bad. Like old lady perfume. And such a strong scent.

I like the formula of this dry shampoo but there must be some flaw because its a second bottle that stops dispensing the product when it feels half full. I thought maybe the first time around I did something so I gave it another chance but again bottle feels full, air is coming out but no product with it. Its a very expensive dry shampoo when you only get to use half of it. And yes I always rinse and keep my nozzle clean.

this wasnt my fav dry shampoo ive used but it's alright. for me, i usually use it during dah 3 hair, when it's kind of oily but not a whole lot and it gets the job done! i feel like when i do use it on days my hair is more oily, it doesnt work as well because it makes me hair feel heavy and kind of icky. on the plus side, it smells decent. gifted by drybar

Excellent dry shampoo, even immediately after application there was barely any white residue which disappeared after I rubbed it in and brushed hair. This Detox dry shampoo extended my blowout for two extra days and I have a very greasy scalp. It really removed the oiliness from my scalp and made it look like I was barely on day 1 of my wash. Typically, other dry shampoos either don't do anything for my oily scalp or remove the greasiness for a few hours. So I'm very surprised at how effective this dry shampoos is. Gifted by drybar. This has been the best dry shampoo hands down!! I am so obsessed with the smell and the quality of it all! It has a Super-absorbent formula that eliminates oils and impurities while also leaving my hair looking and feeling clean and refreshed with extra volume and a matte finish.

I like dry bar products and have used a few of them in the past. This dry shampoo has a strong scent - it's hard to describe but definitely pleasant. I did find it a bit overpowering and it definitely lasts so if fragrance isn't your thing, you may want to stay clear of this. It left my hair noticeably less oily looking and absorbed oil well. I did feel it felt a bit stiff. I tend to prefer dry shampoos that leave my hair feeling like my hair rather than weighed down. I did notice a little bit of scalp itchiness after using it as well. I will definitely keep using it but likely wouldn't be my go to dry shampoo. Gifted by drybar.

Seems they changed the formula. This used to leave a powdery residue in hair, which is what made it work so well! You could rub or brush it in and it wasn't noticeable but it worked SO well. Now it's like spraying canned air on your hair. Does nothing. I will be returning and once again looking for a new dry shampoo :(
