Q: For coffee drinkers with Gastritis, GERD, acid issues etc, has this decaf coffee been alright with your stomach?

submitted by emmy - 7 years ago
  • A: It definitely does trigger night time - and sometimes daytime reflux for me. Actually this and the other dunkin regular coffees do that.

  • A: I have Gastric Acid Reflux and this decaf doesn’t bother me

  • A: Thank you for reaching out regarding our Dunkin' Decaf Coffee! We currently do not analyze for acid content or make any health claims with our ground coffee, but would recommend speaking to a health care provider about drinking our Dunkin' Decaf. Hope this helps!

Q: Any future plans to change the decaffeinating to the Swiss water method?

submitted by CampingQ - 1 year ago
  • A: Thank you for your question. Consumer feedback plays an integral role in the continual development of our products. We'll let our internal teams know this is something you'd like to see available in the future.

Q: Has your processing of Decaf changed from 4 yrs ago? Any chance today you are using a water processing to remove caffiene? Are there any chocolate note flavors in this?

submitted by Luz - 2 years ago
  • A: Great questions, Luz! We still use the ethyl acetate direct process. Unfortunately, we do not have a flavored decaf coffee yet. But we will make a suggestion to our internal team!

Q: What process do you use to decaffinate your coffee?

submitted by dorisjjeancrokepresutti - 5 years ago
  • A: Great question, we appreciate you asking! We use the ethyl acetate direct process to decaffeinate our Dunkin' coffee. The ethyl acetate process uses ethyl acetate and steam. While the ethyl acetate is synthetic, it is structurally the same as naturally occurring ethyl acetate found in fruits such as apples, bananas, and pineapples. Hope this helps and enjoy your coffee!
