Description
Raiders of the North Sea: Viking Edition is a strategy & war board game set in the central years of the Viking Age. Journey back to a time of champions of Warlords and Shieldmaidens.
As Viking warriors, players raid unsuspecting settlements, plundering gold, iron and livestock. There is glory to be found in battle, even at the hands of the Valkyrie. Buy armour to improve future raids. Offer your goods to the Chieftain to earn his favour or go down in a glorious victory as the Valkyrie circle above. You think you have what it takes? Then gather your warriors. It's raiding season!
In order to win, players must obtain the most victory points by raiding settlements, taking plunder, and making offerings to the Chieftain. How players use their Plunder is also vital to their success.
