This adapter is required for proper connection, and reduces clearances to combustibles from 18 inches to 6 inches, the closest clearance to a wall of any connector pipe. The inner wall is made of stainless steel to ensure that the flue heats up faster, stays hot for a longer period, and minimizes the creation of creosote waste. This ensures that the longevity of the adapter will be long and be the same as the chimney.
With the length being adjustable, you don't have to cut or crimp the product to suit your needs. Use this connector with rear existing appliances and appliances that need a barometric damper. Use the tee with a clean-out cap to connect your wood stove to a manufactured chimney. The inner walls are made of stainless steel with a galvanized outside exterior.
