The Series X is able to play most Xbox One games using backwards compatibility, however Series X games will not work on an Xbox One. Q: This game says Xbox X series. I have an Xbox S series. From what I’m reading I seems like this X Series disk will work on my Xbox Series console?
A: Ya it should work. Xbox is a joke though. I have no idea why they chose to name it Xbox S it confuses people with an Xbox 1S. Cause this won’t work on an Xbox 1S.

It will only work the the Xbox Series X because this is a Disc version of the game and the Series X is the only Xbox that had a disc drive this generation.
