This thing leaks with the funnel design it has. Almost impossible to use without spilling gas. I wouldn't recommend this product. It needs a nozzle!

I am sorry to hear you do not like the design of the Type I Safety Can. When using the Type I Safety Can, you will want to make sure your funnel is securely pushed down all the way to avoid any spilling. If you prefer a can with a hose, I would recommend a Type II model instead: https://www.justrite.com/safety-cans-and-containers/type-ii-safety-cans
Leaking from spot welds on the handle

Purchased this can a few years ago and it has started to leak from the spot weld on the handle. How do I get the can replaced under warranty?

Thank you for reaching out to us, we apologize for the frustration with this. Our cans do have a 10 year manufacturing warranty on them. Please email photos of your safety can and the date stamp pressed into the bottom of your can to our customer service team at custserv@justrite.com so we can review your warranty claim.
